Craig's final lines in films!

This was something I had just noticed when having my daily, general musings about Bond as you do.

In CR, the film ends on Craig saying "Bond, James Bond" and obviously, with the theme playing in the background, it's meant to signify that Bond has arrived and that he's here.

In QoS, the film ends with Craig saying "I never left" which is him saying that he's still there etc.

In SF, the film ends with Craig saying "With pleasure, M. With pleasure." which taken in the context of the conversation is him saying that he's going to continuing being here so to speak.

Just noticed that all three of his films end on similar lines in terms of theme etc. Wonder if that's something intentional by the writers or just coincidental?
It's certainly in keeping with the theme-heavy Bond of the Craig.

I think CR was definitely instating Craig as Bond and giving us the reboot as it were, QoS was a continuation of CR, with him saying he'd never left meaning (for me anyway) that he was over loosing Vesper to a certain degree, enough anyway for him to come 'home' to MI6 and his symbolic mother in M.

Skyfall was a similar vein, but with him feeling betrayed by M's order to Eve to 'take the bloody shot' and eventually coming round and again returning to MI6. So in that sense, SF was the same theme as CR and QoS.

I think we're now done with the 'bond is back' idea and it's not time to get down to business. No more bond on his knees.

Yes. Bond has been licked into shape he has stiffened his sinew ( ooh er !) So with Spectre I think it will
be more a traditional outting for 007. Perhaps returning to the last line being a lady saying in a sexy voice
" oh, James !"

I do think with spectre Craig's Bond will finally get the "happy ending"
He deserves, in both senses of the phrase.

How many Bond films have ended with the words "Oh James". I'm sure there were a couple Moore's and TLD had it as well.

To me, the nadir of the series... X-(
I made a Bond spoof at age 21 that used the "Oh James" during a car stunt. Way back THEN it was silly. 8-)
