A correction - I Only Need One fan film

Hey all, it seems that I came across as "soliciting" in my last post about the fan film. I apologize as this was not what was intended - if you'll re-read the last post, I did not once ask for anyone to donate or in general call for people to support the film ("if you can help please spread the word", etc), rather the post was about what we're making & what we're trying to do.

So, I was looking for commentary and discussion on the style of things were are doing. For example, Did it sound like a good film, plot and style? The replica of the Golden Gun - Looks good & modern or worse than the original? The Funhouse - good idea to update with the rotating mirrors? Or other suggestions? This is the Bond Fan community so you guys know best, after all, we're making the film for this audience!

Anyhow, that's my explanation of what transpired yesterday. Apologies once more if it came across as soliciting.

I won't post anymore links, but if the topic is of interest to anyone, you can always private message me with your opinions and comments on the fan short. Thank you.

Re-reading your initial post, you did not ask once about opinions.

You presented the project and presented your kickstarter link to finance the project.

I'll be the first to give you my opinion but not how you've done it and I find your new explanation pretty remarkable to say it politely.

Here is your initial post which does not reflect much from what you are saying here.:
Hello everyone! This is my first time posting on the forums after exploring many of the topics! I wanted to share something that I think is of interest to the 007 fan community.
We're doing a short fan film called I Only Need One - you guessed it, a short inspired by MWGG. We're modernizing the characters, updating their combat tactics and the intensity of the Funhouse, all while staying within the "Bond Rules" that keep it classic and make it a Bond film.
We've got a sick Golden Gun (this time with a built-in flashlight), a PPK, and are working on building the funhouse set with rotating mirrors & a grid up top that we can rig to so we can do some light wirework for stunts (send people flying, etc). We also have a sick fight planned with a Fire Axe and huge muscle man like the huge guy fight in District B-13.
We launched an indiegogo for fundraising cash to build this stuff, transport and feed cast and crew, and more. There's some pretty rad perks for backers, including a replica of our Golden Gun with their name etched in calligraphy on it. Check it out! https://www.xxxyyyzzzz.com"

People always give their opinions without being asked. It's pretty much expected especially when you present your own art, story, film, etc. I've never found that I have to ask anyone for feedback or opinions anymore. People just say what they think. Especially online! However I do appreciate your putting it politely. That isn't something you see online anymore. You post your stuff and no matter if you ask or not, just putting it out there opens it up to discussion and people's opinions, censored or not.

    What I expected was:

"Here's what we're doing, we have this, this and this planned, and we are making this item which you can check out this link to see"

"I like the item, but I am curious as to how you will intergrate wire stuff into Bond, doesn't seem like wire stuff fits in the bond universe"

"well it's not Wire-fu, it's more like the puppets that will be in the funhouse can drop down from the ceiling and get blown away when Bond shoots them"

    Etc, etc.

Are you going to tackle a British accent for the role?

Actually, there are no lines in the whole film! The whole story of the duel is told through action - Bond wakes up on the beach, receives his invitation and goes through a series of challenges to reach the final funhouse battle.
