I think we're in for many surprises. I can't spoil anything of course, I didn't read any script, and I don't want to, but the Nehru jacket is too obvious...just saying.
Only Connery and Moore used white dinner jacket. And now Craig. It's like a karate belt for ultimate James Bonds! the black tux is easy, but the white dinner jacket... ;-) And he looks great in it.
Can't help but think Brosnan should have been part of those "Bond Heavyweights" as well. He did do the same amount of Bond movies that Craig did after all, and I think the white dinner jacket made him look real Bondian:
I guess many would argue the same, but I'm not in that group...Remember also that Craig will do at least one more.

now I've watched the trailer over and over , notice no iconic mr "Bond" james bond moments.
hopefully saving for the film.
really hoping for that and plenty james bond theme , never used it enough for me in craig films esp SF

You mean it's there to lead us to believe what everyone suspects right now, but then that's not the whole story?

My head exploded when I watched the trailer. I feel like an extra from Scanners.
Everything about this film – even the title – screams “old-school, old-fashioned, Connery-style Bond movie.” The cinematography, M yelling at 007 in his office, scenes with Q and Moneypenny, gadgets, the white dinner jacket, the train, the henchman, the car chase, the gorgeous women and exotic locales, the action (GOOD GOD, THE ACTION!). It’s like someone took the fantasy Bond movie that’s been playing in my head my whole life and filmed it!
I hope they havn't gone overboard on the gadgets but they needed to up them a bit after recent movies.
I hope the same. Personally wouldn't have needed the flamethrower in the car, but then again it's very hard to come up with gadgets that are impressive and "realistic" at the same time. And it's not like it's gonna spoil the movie for me.

I'd say DC has earned every bit of his right to wear the white dinner jacket. He looked every bit of awesome in it.
White dinner jackets went out of style many moons ago. Though an iconic formal summer look, it eventually disappeared as informal attire gradually took over modern fashion. I personally always liked them, though I always preferred the more toned down cream colored versions. It rather looks like Craig is wearing one in the train scene, though it could just be the warm lighting effecting it. However, his white shirt has much a higher contrast against it, so it actually could be cream colored.

It's definitely not pure white. Pure white dinner jackets were never classic since warm-weather dinner jackets are traditionally made of wool, and wool doesn't go pure white. Tom Ford says this dinner jacket is made of wool. In linen, a white dinner jacket is possible. Though even Moore's linen dinner jacket in Octopussy is ivory and not pure white. Most pure white dinner jackets are made of polyester, which is not good in warm weather!
A couple of things I've noticed in the trailer (which looks absolutely bloody brilliant):
1.
We see Monica Belluci facing away from two men, then hear two silenced gunshots. I think we're supposed to believe that they kill her, but upon closer inspection, the two men collapse after the shots just before it cuts to something else. Bond saves her?
2.
At about 1:35, we hear a voiceover that says "You came across me so many times, yet you never saw me". To me, it sounds like Andrew Scott (Denbigh), rather than Christoph Waltz. I think any fans of Sherlock will see what I mean if they listen closely.
Had the radio on in the car and it appears Bond is the current topic on British Forces Radio today after the release of todays trailer - guess its got a lot of people excited!!!

So, when Oberhauser says, "It was me, James, the cause of all your pain." What's he referring to?
The answer would be a rather large spoiler...so best not said...
I haven't read any scripts, etc, but I have a pretty good idea what he means and it's the direction I predicted the series would go in a couple of years ago.

You can PM me what you predicted if you wish ? As I've no idea what that was

don't really get why the spoiler tag is used here?!
but No.1 is certainly true
and No.2 I think you are wrong, it is definately the first suggestion
Please folks don't use spoiler tags on everything, if somebody wants to avoid them he just shouldn't click on these threads at all

No don't. They will be 45 years old. Half the country won't know it...

"- That is something to be afraid of."
He says it to Bellucci in the TV Teaser when he seduces her! Unless you mean a more typical version!
Yes.
In my opinion thats the only thing DC hasn't matched him , everything else he's surpassed

I indeed noticed the first one - kind of like that outcome after what happened in Skyfall
Your second one is interesting
On your second point...I was so ready to rubbish it ....but I've listened to it again a few times...you could be on to something there -{
