I'm not a Fan of it either My own Theory is that Bond and Oberhauser had some sort of heated Argument as Children that ended with him being incredibly bitter.
1.On Her Majesties Secret Service 2.The Living Daylights 3.license To Kill 4.The Spy Who Loved Me 5.Goldfinger
I do like a bit of " incredible Bitter" or mild.
As it is a Teaser, many I think are jumping to all kinds of speculations. I am
Certain the producers will not change Fleming's back story to Bond. They may
Add characters etc, but I can't see them messing with his history.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
From what I have been told, Oberhauser is Bond's foster brother and is indeed bitter towards him - to the extent that setting up SPECTRE was a way at getting back at him.
If this turns out to be the case, I don't think anyone could defend its credibility. It would be far fetched even for a Bond storyline.
It would also mirror the M/Silva motivation from Skyfall.
I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why they couldn't have made this a Queen and Country mission rather than a personal one. All the ingredients are there for them to come up with a very original, yet classic, spy thriller.
IMO, good way is just to settle and look the teaser as many times you like, but bear in mind that this was only a "teaser" and in summertime ( don't remember the exact date) there will be the real trailer and as modern trailers, they will usually "spoil" almost the whole thing......anyway we are aiming for the premiere of the SPECTRE, which is 06/11/15
Knowing who to trust is Everything in this business.

As always it's fun to speculate, even some of our silly suggestions, but I really

I'm certain the trailer was cut in a way to get us all guessing ...

but will probably have a few twists, to keep us surprised.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
On the trailer itself, some brilliant photography in it, some fantastic establishing
Shots, And the music at the "meeting" very soft, but very dramatic. So apart from
The story line speculation, I'm very happy.

Along with my spotting the " obvious John Glen" homage ( only joking)
Will the use of " The Ring" lead to people looking for connections with the
Lord of the Rings movies . )
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
I see no reason to believe Bond and Oberhauser are biological half-brothers. Bond was a foster child in the Oberhauser family in his early teens, no more - no less. To me it looks like the burnt photo is of Bond and Oberhauser senior and jr. Bond burnt out his own face - why? I don't think there are any reason to belive the trailer is indicating that Bond's parents were killed by SPECTRE or anyone else. At least I hope so. Someone wrote that the landscape shots were stunning. I think they were moody and well shot, but it just looks like a cloudy day at home. Pretty much like where I'll be tomorrow, in fact. They could have offered more spectacular landscape shots and Lea Seydoux , but that might have changed the mood of the teaser trailer.
The crows may very well be a reference to Glenn's doves. Is mr White hiding out in the old Oberhauser house? If so - why? Was White waiting there for Bond? Or perhaps it's mr White's childhood home, but I find it less likely.
Not in the trailer. I still wonder if SPECTRE is after White because he worked for them and failed them or because SPECTRE is destroying/swallowing up Quantum.
I think the lack of action is interesting, how they instead focused on mood and story. :007)
Bond is sent to Mexico to assassinate an enemy of the state. This goes wrong and he ends up chasing him through the streets. The enemy escapes via helicopter but Bond gets on board, kills the villain and assumes control of the chopper. He retrieves a Spectre ring from dead enemy.
Bond returns to London where M gives him a bollocking because MI6 is about to merge with MI5 and somehow that's Bond's fault??
So as usual, he's handed some personal effects from Skyfall and goes home to sulk. It turns out Judy Dench has a lead on Mr a white from beyond the grave that also links him to his foster family, the Oberhausers. Bond heads off and corners Mr White. Who agrees to sell out Spectre and Oberhauser if Bond agrees to protect his daughter. Bond agrees, White spills and the tops himself.
Bond goes to Rome to meet White's daughter and also sees Oberhauser. They are chased.
Then they end up in Austria, where they meet Batista, who tries to kill them. Bond ends up in an aeroplane.
Then they end up in Tangiers, where Oberhaser's lair is. There is classic Bond has dinner with the baddie scene here. It all goes tits up but Bond escapes and Onerhauser is presumed dead.
Bond gets back to London but finds MI6 no longer exists. Then he finds out Oberhauser is alive and well and is lurking in the derelict MI6 building. Bond has to get there to rescue Mr White's daughter, which he does, and then there is a helicopter chase over the Thames. Bond brings down the chopper with a flare and it crashes onto one the river bridges. Oberhauser stumbles out and Bond reveals his real name is Enst Stavro Blofled!!! Instead of killing him, Bond hands him over to the cops.
Roll credits.
Or so I've been told. At least it has the gunbarrel at the start.
The teaser trailer is okay in the sense it hints at the storyline, it's not just a series of random shots like The Force Awakens teaser, but I'm not a great fan of the gloomy "it's personal" approach Barbara Broccoli has brought to the franchise. The sense of fun seems to be going with each installment. I think some of the Bond magic has gone but times move on, the Craig era is mega-popular and people like the grittier style.
I'm not a fan of the rumoured plot concerning Bond and Blofeld as brothers. I think this 'idea' is totallly unnecessary, Fleming would no doubt hate the suggestion, and I suspect it will forever destroy the mystique of Bond's arch enemy. But I could be becoming a fuddy-duddy fan. If I don't like it I can just watch the old Bond films and ignore the Craig era!

Correct me if I'm wrong but the boy is Bond (a childhood photo of Craig superimposed) It's the other boy who's face is burnt out. Which I'm assuming was burnt in the Skyfall Lodge fire.

Knew him as a kid, or rather that's what I'm hoping.

Unless it has been heavily revised, we're getting a rewritten history in November.
I avoided reading the leaked Script.
Will probably turn out Blofeld's cat is a direct descendant of Bond's aunt's, the way things are going.
A Property Of A Lady, Perhaps ?:)

Blofeld: M never told you what happened to your father.
Bond: She told me enough! She told me you killed him!
Blofeld: No. I am your father
