I realised my thinking on Bond came from years of the Roger Moore films and

Suddenly many things became clear and QOS, seemed to have a lot more

After reading the Books again, so they were fresh in my mind ( I hadn't actually
Read them since my teens or early twenties ) I could finally see that this was a way
Of showing how although we see Bond's Job as glamorous, sometimes he has to
Do some unpleasant things as in reality his job has many dirty/nasty aspects.
So basically it can save loads of time to listen to some friendly advice, as it stops
You looking foolish, a little bit quicker. )
