What would have Fleming thought of the post-Connery actors

Correct me if I'm wrong, but despite all of his talents, Fleming kinda came across closed-minded bigot stuck in his ways. Kind of like Ayn Rand.
He probably would have thought Moore was a clown. Dalton, for example, paid him a huge compliment by portraying the literary Bond. I could see Fleming thanking Dalton for making the character more believable, but I can also see Fleming condemning Dalton for some trivial reason. Same with Craig.

But to be honest, I don't think Connery matched Fleming's Bond picture-perfect either.

I agree, but such is the strength of Connery's portrayal of 007 that he even won over the creator! :007)
I agree.

I've always thought Richard E Grant, looked a lot how Fleming described Bond.
Sorry, who is Ayn Rand?
Would have enjoyed Dalton and Craig but would have damned Brosnan and Moore to the skies for turning his creation into a parody..
I still personally believe Fleming was using his brother Peter's looks to describe Bond. He only mentioned HC in the books to describe how Bond looks similar to HC (as his brother did) because HC was internationally well known at the time. Peter not very much.
It's why I used Peter's photo in my profile pic - I think he looks like Bond.
