Magazines and Front Covers - SPECTRE

LexiLexi LondonPosts: 3,000MI6 Agent
I'm sure this has been posted already... however, I'm trying to keep out of the rumours thread, so thought I would start a new one, that deals with Magazines that covers SPECTRE in detail, and any front covers can be posted too.

I'm sure we are going to be seeing a lot of 'proper' press now (not just rumours and speculation) - and it would be great to have it all in one place... :D

I'll kick off,
Empire Magazine, April Edition

Any paper mags (supliments) too could be mentioned, as I don't tend to buy newspapers...so would be good to be given a heads up when they start making the rounds...

Christopher Waltz features on the cover of May's issue of British GQ magazine, on sale from Thursday 9th April. In a preview of the full interview Waltz is asked whether he hesitated in doing a Bond film, and whether a Bond film can be artistically fulfilling. Also, whether he is playing the classic Bond villain Blofeld, to which he replied: "That is absolutely untrue. The rumour started on the internet, and the internet is a pest. The name of my character is Franz Oberhauser."

    Waltz: No.

    internet: Are you sure?

Waltz: My character's name is Oberhauser.

    internet: Ah, you're Blofeld!!!

On a related note, I've wondered why I don't like Tom Hardy, and I just realized it's because he looks like the slimy villain in Eddie Murphy's 48 Hours.

Yep. I posted him for comparison to the photo above of Tom Hardy. They should play father and son, but I wouldn't go to see it, haha.

Thanks for sharing this! Good interview. I thought the fact DC was being interviewed by a director made a difference and he was more engaged...

Thank you for this as well! It's possibly the only interview I've seen Daniel Craig do where he seems down to earth. I think it helps that the reviewer was someone Craig respects, because he usually acts like most people interviewing him are beneath him. I was surprised to hear that, according to him, he's not against polite fans approaching him. I always got the impression he didn't want anyone to bother him at all.

Once I saw that front cover on my issue of Total Film my excitement levels went sky high!!! I still have too long to wait for SPECTRE to hit the cinema, I need to get my excitement levels down. Fortunately CR67 is on TV sunday afternoon that should calm me down a bit ;)

The problem with stuff like that is some disgruntled fan complaining will always be noisier (and therefore get more traction on tabloid sites) than someone who got a smile and a photo and went on their way. Before long, that noisy, negative experience is "the impression."

Lifetime is free if you pick it up from an Omega boutique. But they charge you if you order from the website.
