They should send him to New York.

No offence.....but New york has been done to death.

Every Amrican film takes place there - every TV film, a short feature. How many times has there been another car chase down Fifth avenue

Wirth a Bond you can do ANYWHERE

So lets have some original locations

    Andalucia
    Salzburg and Munich
    Prague
    Israel
Moscow (I'd like to see him walk across Red Square..)
    Cape Town
    Singapore
    Beijing
    Nepalese himalayas
    Sydney or Melbourne
    Bueno Aires

Canada could also be a great one stop shop for several great locations. :)

Personally, I don't think NYC can ever be "done to death". It's all a matter of perspective and screen time. Bond would not have to spend anymore time there than he did in LALD. It would just be a jumping off point after meeting Leiter at a famous spot like the UN or Rockefeller Center (it would be great seeing them even meet up at the 21 Club). From their they could go to one of the estates on Long Island for some action or have Bond end up in Saratoga Springs as he did in DAF then head up to Canada. These locations would only have to be in the first third or half of the film and for the remainder he could end up any place else on the planet. The TV crime dramas in NY do nothing for me. They mostly are interior studio/talking head scenes to begin with and most of the locations I've seen are usually fairly banal spots. The only TV series I watched that really used NY as a character was the USA network's "White Collar". I actually looked forward to watching it to catch what famous location they would be at each week.
