Walther PPK hand grip needed

Hi all,

I'm looking to replace the right hand grip of my 60s era Walther PPK which suffered a damage ;%
A factory brown grip like this

It might be better to replace both so it age match? If anyone has this one grip or a pair of grips you want to sell please let me know.

Cheers

Simon

Earl's Repair Service, the factory authorized Wlather dealer, does them. I bought a brown set of grips last year, vintage, and correct.

Thanks Tom, but unfortunately they don't send to the UK. Rather odd since they import from Germany, an EU country.

I have dealt with Earl before. He actually runs a vacuum repair shop that happens to stock and sell guns as well. Funny set up but he knows his stuff. He has some pretty long resaons why he doesnt export guns or gun bits to Europe which I wont bore you with but basically he wont send stuff. Dealt with him trying to export a walther p99 MI6 bond edition a couple of years back. He still has one as far as I know but its never coming to the UK for lots of reasons.

I used Earl to refinish my 1967 PPK and swap the grips for black ones, excellent service.

Im sending you pics of my brown grips this afternoon but did he say or does anyone else know if there are laws against sending the grips to the UK? I don't want to end up in jail :-)

    Thanks sruzgar.
I have imported grips from the US before. Alone they are not firearms because you can't deactivate a grip. They are no more lethal than grips found on a toy gun for a 3yrs old child. Maybe for custom declaration to call it "vintage plastic grips"?
A quick search on ebay UK shows a host of US based sellers exporting Walther grips all over the world including the UK (unfortunately not the ones I'm after)

Some people collects grips as decorative piece. I think with Earl he runs a company that deals with firearms which is problematic exporting anything.

I get stuff from Earl all the time. Never had a problem with him not exporting mags, grips, boxes and screws etc.
