Gun oil

I have Break Free Collector and Eezox, both very different. I don't use my Walther to fire and keep it deactivated so for me oil choice is just for preservation against rust and handling. What is your opinion about these oil, do you have your own preference?

Napier make great products specifically for this. Been using Napier for years on my collectors guns, shotguns and air rifles. Never had a problem with corrosion.

And no doubt everyone else could guess who'd be the first to post something utterly pointless afterwards.

I've not heard of Napier, is it British?
Break Free and Eezox seem to get mention a lot in the US as they have the most private gun owners. I may give this Napier a try if it can protect against finger prints.

I use Hoppe's No. 9 and Militec. Hoppe's is old school.

They should lather up every Aston Martin with that stuff if it truly prevents rust!

I have tried Napier gun oil and their 3 in 1 field patch. Obviously I can only asses the appearance and touch of the gun surface. They are all good but for me Eezox edges it because it drys better and leaves a self healing coat. You will notice the different more with matt surfaces and gun magazines, Eezox make it look beautiful and more resistance to finger prints. Napier appears to be a gentle oil that is good for preservation and I would not hesitate to use it for my sword.
