1 Max Zorin (AVTAK) - Psychotically laughs as he slips off the Golden Gate Bridge.
2 Red Grant (FRWL) - In an intense brawl with Bond, thanks to the special suitcase.
3 Alec Trevelyan (GE) - Bond lets pushes him off his own satellite for a long fall. "For me."
4 Dominic Greene (QOS) - Stranded in a desert and handed a can of motor oil for his thirst.
5 Franz Sanchez (LTK) - Covered in gasoline, Bond burned him with the lighter Felix gave to Bond.
6 Le Chiffre (CR) - Mr. White assassinated him while he was desperately torturing Bond.
7 Rosa Klebb (FRWL) - Tania and Bond work together to foil her plan to steal the decoder and kill her.
8 Dr. No (DN) - Bond knocks him into a hot pool of his own nuclear waste. Ouch!
9 Not-Blofeld (FYEO) - Is snatched up by Bond's helicopter and dumped down a seemingly bottomless well.
10 Francisco Scaramanga (MWGG) - Bond disguises as a statue of himself and shoots him.
11 Witt and Kidd (DAF) - A bomb-cake room service plan goes wrong and Bond/Case kill them terribly.
12 Hugo Drax (MR) - Bond sends him in a shuttle to the vacuum of outer space.
13 Raoul Silva (SF) - A knife thrown in his back by Bond. Sometimes simple is better.
14 Boris Grishenko (GE) - Stands on debris, shouting "I am invincible" as nitrogen tanks freeze him.
15 Emilio Largo (TB) - Domino kills him with a spear.
16 Stromberg (TSWLM) - Shot in the nuts by his own barrel.
17 Goldfinger (GF) - Bond throws him off a plane.
18 Hans/Brandt (YOLT) - Villains are devoured in Blofeld's pool of piranhas.
19 Aris Kristatos (FYEO) - Anti-hero Columbo deals with him where Bond can't.
20 Blofeld Imposter (DAF) - Dumped in a searing hot pile of mud. Welcome to hell, I guess.
21 Miranda Frost (DAD) - Was stabbed with the Art of War book inside the blade.
22 Elektra King (TWINE) - Bond shot her, breaking a convention of him sparing women.
23 Renard (TWINE) - Impaled by a plutonium rod of a missile he planned to initiate.
24 Elliot Carver (TND) - Crushed by large spinny blades. Satisfying, but really?
25 Gustav Graves (DAD) - Was sucked into the airplane's blades.
26 Brad Whitaker (TLD) - Dies via Bond's whistle-operated bomb. It is what it is.
27 Kamal Khan (OP) - Wikipedia says a plane crashed into him. I forgot. Who cares.
28 Dr. Kananga (LALD) - Bond shoots him with a gas pellet and he pops. Quite curt.

I like Zorin's death, especially the psychotic laughing as he slowly slips but it could be better. Certainly it could do without Carl Mortner shouting "Max!" "Max!" and for me I would have preferred for Bond do have had more of an input into his death, physically pushing him off the bridge would have given more of an impact than a struggle and then watching him slip on his own (though I doubt Roger would have anything to do with that).

Red Grant, Sanchez and Trevelyan have good send offs, nice and cold. Also quite like Kananga's balloon demise because yes its cartoony but it fits perfectly with the tone of the film. Most of the rest are a bit meh for me.

    1. Zorin falling off the Golden Gate Bridge
    2. Hugo Drax being left drifting in space
    3. Sanchez being burnt by Felix and Della's lighter given to Bond.
    4. Trevelyean being crushed by the satellite control
    5. Carver being killed with a giant saw weapon - quite dark for Bknd, actually.
    6. Silva being stabbed - not OTT, but very good in its simplicity
    7. Boris being frozen
    8. Dominic Greene being left in the desert
    9. Elektra shot by Bond - again, good in its simplicity.
    10. Dario and Krest - the most violent deaths, and the best visually in terms of effects
    11. General Orlov being shot at the border.

Honestly don't think any other deaths are that great.
One thing i have noticed is that the main villains in the Brosnan films were killed by their own weapons. Alex by the satellite control tower, Carver by the saw weapon, Renard by the plutonium rod for the nuclear weapon, and Graves was electrocuted by his armour before being sucked into the engine of his plane.

There are several great deaths, and I'm really having a hard time ranking them. However, I'm sure most will agree (obviously not you, King Kamal) that Kananga's demise ranks pretty close to the bottom! What a letdown for a really good villain. :#

Agreed, it actually an embarrassing ending to an otherwise great film. :#

Kananga should have been eaten by a shark. It was there! It was about to eat him! Think about how good of an ending that would have been for him! Referring to the fact he thought he could kill Bond, he could have finished with "He's bitten off mor than he could chew". It would have been such a good ending to such a good Bond film! I now want to go and watch LALD!

Yes, Both Bond and Mr Big having to fight of a shark attack would have been exciting
and as AOS points out in keeping with the Book. Even have Mr Big confront Bond on the
Train for a great fight scene, but I guess it's all in the past now. ;)

Kananga dying with a gas pellet was fine. But at least make him inflate and suffocate to death for a good 10-20 seconds.

It isn't the method of Kananga's death, it's the execution.
