"You could have had it all"
"Don't you want to know why"
Bond reveals Felix's Lighter he received from the wedding.
Bond ignites Franz Sanchez on fire.

I think I understand the general gist of this quote, but I feel like there's something I'm missing.

It's sort of like Bond saying "If you didn't kidnap Felix and his wife, none of this would have happened to you". I'm sure Sanchez would've paid Bond really well if he were truly loyal (hence "You could have had it all").

But how exactly is the lighter the reason why Bond could have had it all?

    As you said, I think that Line meant 'You make your Bed, now sleep in it'

    Sanchez had no Idea that Bond was after Revenge, and thought that his Loyalty was real. He's simply saying that Bond would have been rich -{

    Yeah. What really trips me up though is why Bond says "don't you want to know why".

    Like Bond is saying he could have had it all and he knew why.

    Basically Sanchez cannot understand why Bond has - as far as Sanchez is concerned - turned on him...so Bond shows him the lighter given to him by Felix & Della to explain his actions...
