SPECTRE POSSIBLE SPOILER - Bond's flat.

Probably a long shot but has anyone managed to identify anything from Bond's flat, I saw the bulldog and some black and white photos I couldn't really make out propped against the wall.

I aassume he's in the process of moving in after MI6 sold his original flat.

Unless I'm missing something I don't see the Macallan. I see what looks like a glass of whisky however.

In the scene where the box is passed over, for a brief moment you see a bottle on the right of shot. Has an obvious 'v' shaped label on the neck

I thought it was a " Scene it, 007 Edition" but yes I agree
Chess and death are clearly a motif in spectre. As in that
Old Bergman film with Death playing chess. " The Seventh Seal"

Looking at the coffee table (which I quite like), I reckon a pretty cheap replica could be knocked up using a couple of scaffold boards for the top and some reclaimed timber for the legs and supports.

Give it a good sanding, slap on a bit of antique stain and varnish.

Done.





I need a new coffee table, as it happens. Just need to persuade Mrs T to let me play with the power tools...

Someone by the flat and we'll party there! The chess game on screen is an 1873 classic game from VIENNA. The white king and white rook are straddling more than one square though--get it?

That one print in Bond's flat is weird. Nude people? Flowers? What is it?
