IMO, from most jokey to least jokey, it goes:
1 - Moore
2 - Brosnan
3 - Connery
4 - Lazenby
5 - Craig
6 - Dalton

What do you think?

    Brosnan's Bond was actually a more serious Bond. It's just that his scripts put him in situations where he had to tolerate lots of ****.

    Seems about right I would say! I would only switch around Lazenby and Craig.

    I'd agree with your list AOS, only I'd switch Dalton and Craig. ;)

    + 1 there is plenty of humour in the Craig films. It's just very underplayed and quite dark. In CR, Who could forget Bond throwing away the keys to the Range Rover he's just demolished? Or, having clinically died in the Aston, is revived by Vesper and asks her " You ok?". Or in Skyfall, "Your interior decorating tips are always much appreciated, 007" :))

    #3 would be a near solid tie with Connery & Brosnan (DAF is as or more silly than any Brosnan movie in terms of dialogue, and NSNA is the tipping point that equalizes them both IMHO.
    Dalton & Craig naturally follow.
