David, finally caught up on all you vlogs of the last few months (you must be loving that Aston, I will continue to dream on that one - you are truly living the dream!). I loved the one with your good lady and our excuses for Bond purchases she must believe we are a mad bunch!
As always great content and very informative cannot wait for the next one!
Keep up the great work.
Cheers :007)
My name is Bond, Basildon Bond - I have letters after my name!
I saw on your Instagram that you’ve had some pieces made from SuitSupply. I’ve been thinking lately about giving them or Indochino (which has a location near me I can use to get measured) a try.
How about a vlog where you use one of these services to try and replicate a Bond suit and see how close you can actually come for $600ish? If it works, we can even start a pinned thread where we list all the customizations you would need to make in order to replicate each suit.
It’s a potential project that would make a great The Bond Experience/The Suits of James Bond collaboration!

That is an excellent idea. I will be very interested in this. :007)
Suit Supply is serviceable and Indochino is garbage.
I second this. SuitSupply has the ability to make something Bondian through made-to-measure, but getting close may take a bit of luck. Indochino has never made anything that looks remotely good. I don't think they are capable.
I'd recommend Spier & MacKay. I had a good conversation with the owner, Rikky, about Bondian influences in clothing from both the Connery and Craig eras. He's knowledgeable and enthusiastic already and their products are very good quality.

With the exception of the peaked lapels, Suit Supply’s “Washington” fit is very similar in cut and details to the QoS suits. It also happens to be the only OTR jacket of decent quality I’ve ever found that fits me without alteration, so I’ve got a couple of them. They are good workhorse suits.

The Bond Experience was invited to a sneak preview of 007 Elements, A James Bond Installation in Solden. This vlog takes you on the adventure of the day and provides a wealth of information about this new experience located at a REAL Bond location from Spectre... http://007elements.soelden.com/home-en
The installation focuses on the most recent film, Spectre, which was shot in Sölden, but also showcases the other titles in the 24-film series.
It is housed inside a beautiful, bespoke building designed and constructed by Obermoser arch-omo zt gmbH inside the summit of the Gaislachkogl Mountain in Sölden, more than 3,000-metres above sea level.
007 ELEMENTS guides visitors on a journey through a series of high-tech, interactive galleries, each distilling the craft of the signature elements that define a James Bond film — the beautiful title sequences and dramatic scores; the jaw-dropping action sequences; the cars, gadgets and technology; the breath-taking locations and iconic studio sets and lastly, a host of compelling characters.
The collaboration between the project’s creative director, Neal Callow (Art Director on Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre), and the creative team at Optimist Inc. led by Tino Schaedler has produced an immersive, interactive, and informative experience that reveals how the world of 007 is made. The aim of 007 ELEMENTS is to tell the story of the making of 007 films through an ultra-modern, emotive and engaging experience while using the incredible location to place guests in Bond’s environment and bring the stories to life in a unique and unforgettable way.

Have enjoyed the vlogs.I just watched the latest on Bond 25 .
I thought your theory interesting David but don’t think it can fit into narrative given events of Skyfall and Spectre. That is the details of Bond’s childhood doesn’t fit with a storyline of there being a series of Bonds.
Along with Skyfall The Dark Knight Rises one of my favorite films and I thought the ending was cool and poignant. Would be great if Bond 25 could do something as good.
