EXCLUSIVE: No Time To Die's Norway Production Interview
A wonderful interview (recorded June 2019) with PER HENRY BORCH, the Executive Producer of Truenorth who handles production and location services in Norway for No Time To Die and many other movies. Hear from him why Norway provides the environment and the impact for some of movie's most incredible moments...including James Bond!
Greatly enjoyed your thoughts David from your Aston Martin! Sure, the internet was a little spotty at times and you didn't throw in pictures like others, but it's the only one I've seen with the beautiful purr of an Aston Martin in it! -{
No Time To Die Bond Norway Sunglasses Review
We review the sunglasses we believe we see Bond's stunt double wear in the Aston Martin from the location filming in Norway. A combination of visual study, Craig's personal preference, and good ol' detective work leads us to the Vuarnet 1613 Edge. Thanks to our friends at WinkOptics, we discuss the look, the accessories, and if they are right for us.

David hasn't posted here, but he is doing another collab with Joe Darlington on The Bond Experience youtube channel. They are discussing whether an actor's last film is their worst film.
Have you ever heard of the Emancipation Proclamation?"

Anyone know which manufacturer was used for the pull up bar in skyfall ?
I know the fitness equipment was cosmed but apparently the free standing bar wasn't
want to do a bond inspired gym set up
Loved the vlog with Ajay Chowdhury. I had never heard him before - he seemed like someone you could spend a lot of time chatting with. Was kind of hoping Charlie A. would have done a walk on cameo but maybe another day

Hey David, I caught a quick look at your post on Instagram about visceral fat and running. I’d be interested to hear more about your thoughts on that.
I look forward to that. Cortisol is something I’ve been trying to lower as it keeps that stubborn fat on the lower belly. I’ve been doing a bit of yoga for a while now but interested in how you get on.
David, have you ever done a vlog on why you don't collect the Bond watches? Obviously you do have several (perhaps more than several), but they don't seem to be the focus of your collecting efforts, unlike many here who buy every new Omega. Part of this question comes from seeing your Instagram post about doing those crossovers with Urban Gentry, but I'd be interested in hearing how and why you made the decision to concentrate on clothing and props rather than timepieces.
In case you run short of ideas for the vlog.... ) ) )
Wanting to share (pun intended) in the fun of sneaking bond pieces into everyday life, I recently created an instagram profile called @bondspired to share some of the clothing items from Bond past and present styled in the wild. Hope to connect with everyone on instagram.

Why do I gravitate so heavily to the brands of Bond? This video kicks off a series of videos about the marketing, promotion, advertising, and merchandising of James Bond....!

This should be a really fascinating series! Two things I would love to know:
1. How has being in a Bond film impacted some of the smaller brands? OB, N.Peal, Sunspel, Dents, even Connolly. Were they prepared for it? How did they decide how to react? Was the experience entirely positive?
2. Your analysis of brands that handled the Bond connection effectively and those that made mistakes. I'm thinking of things like the Matchless jkt launch compared to Billy Reid for example.
Some GREAT ideas above....love them....BTW, just for AJB, a sneak peek of today's vlog hours early:
Marketing James Bond From the 60's to Today!
Bill Koenig of The Spy Command joins me as we time travel from the 1960's back to today and discuss the promotion, merchandising, adverting, and marketing of James Bond! How has it changed, stayed the same, improved or worsened? And what would WE want to see and experience?
How did the Sunspel Riviera shirt wind up on Daniel Craig in what many people call the best Bond film of them all? Join me for an interview with Nicholas Brooke, CEO of Sunspel, where we discuss the evolution of Sunspel, it's part in Casino Royale, and of course his hopes for No Time To Die!
I must admit I’m a big T-Shirt man as I work from home a lot and just sling on for comfort.
I have many Bond brand tees - Sunspel, Tom Ford, OB etc and in the end I always come back to Sunspel as I believe they represent the best bang for buck quality wise and can be picked up regularly in sales hence easy to avoid full RRP.
I have many OB but they are clearly not very durable at all, sure they are comfy and look nice but they deteriorate fast - amongst my circle of Bond pals we all kind of agree on this, which is a shame considering the price point.
Ive grabbed a few TF Tees in the Porter sales - nice but nothing special, clearly not value for money as one would expect so doubt would buy another but I find similar to Sunspel but not quite as nice.
Sunspel - well out the pack fresh they are amazing and do feel superb in both feel and fit. I have so many now as I pick up one or two a year and wear the hell out of them. They take a long time to fade and no signs of the odd hole appearing like OBs tend to. My only negative is ive had a few hems come undone at the bottom after a year or so of wearing (also on one of their non-riviera Polo’s) so I feel thats their “weak spot” as its happened to maybe 4-5 different shirts after heavy long use. I’m no expert / Seamstress but guess their stitching is a bit weak here!
Their black Tees are my faves (believe the choice of Bruce Wayne / Christian Bale in Batman movies ) )
I did have a brief problem specifically with their Rivieira Polos being a bit hit and miss with quality control many years back (believe transition from England to Turkey manufacture) however I have not had a problem in recent times so I guess they rectified things or they are made elsewhere.
I like the idea of the Casino Royale shirt bundle again (though they would have to revert back to the old style Riviera Tee neck band as they changed it to a thicker design a few years ago)
Never tried their underwear - always meant to pickup some boxer shorts!
That Sunspel interview was the best one you’ve done so far. I really enjoyed it and the CEO came across really well, full of passion and knowledge of the brand.
I’ve got nine Riviera’s already but could be double figures soon -{
Yes. Considerably!

I agree with you there welshie , i have loads of OB t shirts and they are by far the most comfy but the necks do seem to go on them quicker than the sunspels and I had to send 2 back because of shrinkage but haven't said that OB customer service is 1st class.
Value for money the sunspels win hands down and last far longer wash after wash. IMO
really hoping some arriving in NTTD but not hopeful
