Glad you mentioned the lack of screen accuracy in the superimposed comments.
I was surprised at all the quality control issues with the Matchless. Did that ever come up here on the board? How many different jackets were represented by the photos shown andid some of the jackets have dirt and stitching issues?
You bring up the customer service experience, and I have to agree. Initial impressions mean a lot.
I know some people have had bad recent dealings with John Varvatos and won't buy from them again. All my dealing with them have been terrific, and I have purchased another (non-Bond) jacket from them as a result. Tom Ford has also had issues with their pricing and customer service recently that has soured many on the brand.
Really solid review David. And good for you with calling out Matchless on their customer service.
And it works too. I have no doubt that the positive light in which you review NPeal and the James Bond Lifestyles competition link ups with them too, have done them good exposure as a small British company.
The Bond influence is big, we all know that with the way stuff sells. Some companies recognise that more than others - Matchless certainly banked on it. So they should pay attention to the fact those influences can go both ways.

David discusses and reviews the Orlebar Brown shirt that Bond wears in the movie Spectre on the train...but mystery abounds as we delve into the detective work surrounding this offering...
The fabrics of the shirts look nice and on its own I'd prefer the Malone if I had to wear one, but I have to ask about the fit. Honestly that shirt looked much too small on you. It was pulling at the buttons, and watching the shirt gap every time you moved was distracting (although I'm sure some members of this board enjoyed the peek-a-boo pectorals. ).

Would really love to get your take on the Bond watches
I wear a 10.5 in Nikes, usually between a 9.5-10 in most dress shoes. How do the Camberleys run? They are my favorite pair on the site. Thanks!

Great video and yes! You officially previewed the SP watch. Looking forward to your full Bond experience review on it.
Excellent, entertaining and insightful as always David!
