Skyfall Title Sequence

Watching Skyfall now, and I saw something in the titles that have got me thinking. As we go into the fire from the dragon, we see someone in a chair shirking about and then a quick close up of the face, with what appears to be a blindfold on. Does anyone know what it is? What it means? I ask this because a lot of the title sequence shows stuff from the film like Skyfall, the dragons and bond as a child (showing the film in the title - a reference to Goldfinger?), so I was wondering what this was? Or is it irrelevant? Again, I ask this because most of the title sequence references parts of the film.

Might be Bond meeting Silva, as he's tied to a chair in that scene. ?
Or a memory of his torture in CR ?
