Which Rejected Bond songs do you guys like?
I love this rejected song from Goldeneye:
(Which should have ATLEAST been the song to play over the end credits replacing whatever the crappy song that now holds that slot is called.)
The Goldeneye" by Ace of Base
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFIm-90hZrA
I'm also a fan of Surrender for Tomorrow Never Dies, that DID atleast get the end credits but I prefer it over the one that was chosen:
Surrender - k.d. lang
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kh1C_AbFoNc
And I also love this rejected song for Quantum of Solace, which is also miles better than the Alicia Keys/ Jack White one:
Forever - I Am All Yours" - Eva Almér.

Any thoughts?

I think qit is way better than Lulu's version
" I don't listen to hip hop!"
Thunderball- alternate title seq. - Dionne Warwick - HD STEREO: https://youtu.be/qSxT6mufIyM
I like that it was still used in the film's soundtrack though.

I believe he submitted this and was turned down. It's not hard to see why, it's just not a Bond song. It'd make a kick-ass theme song for an action packed Western though.
Yeah I remember that one, has to be one of the most out of place Bond songs ever. Good god that would be awful with Thunderball. A title sequence involving all kinds of water and swimming ladies combined with western music )

+1 The current Goldeneye credits song is dreadful.
Many Bond fans seem to share this viewpoint. Personally, I like Sheryl Crow's TND waaaay better. Besides, why would "Surrender" be an appropriate theme for a Bond movie? Bond should never surrender!
1. GE 2. MR 3. OP 4. TMWTGG 5. TSWLM 6. TND 7. TWINE 8.DN 9. GF 10. AVTAK
I'm a big fan of the Alice Cooper TMWTGG, although I agree with your point above.
(But would have matched LALD in terms of having a hard rock song)

Disagree. I really like Tina Turner's Goldeneye theme song - I thought it was one of the better ones.
That's a brilliant song and I love it, but it's been reported that it wasn't a 'rejected song' - it was never written for QoS in the first place - even though it seems to be very fitting.
Firemass- "Surrender" is only entitled "Surrender" to distinguish it from the Sheryl Crow.. thing... If Arnold's song had been used over the main titles then it would have been called TND.
Defiant- Arnold did start composing "No Good About Goodbyes" during QOS (small parts of it can be heard in the score) but didn't finish it once he was told the main title song would be Jack White's... thing... He and Don Black did finish it later.
Agreed -{
"Jack White's...thing...".....
I do believe you are mellowing towards it now
Blondie and Pet Shop Boys !!
Loving Johnny Cash .. though not for Bond.

It really is a shame that Bassey's song wasn't picked for QOS. I always like it when the title song is also used in the score of the movie. Arnold used the lick of the song throughout QOS.
Maybe if the song was finished in time it could have been considered. I like how it has the word "solace" in the lyrics. It definitely fit the tone of the film better than AWTD.
