Thanks for the suggestion; I did see that on eBay. I'm not looking to pay a premium (SA doesn't matter to me, they're all made by Stewart's in Italy, and that is enough for me). I know they can be had for under $700 USD so I'll keep my eyes peeled. I totally snoozed on the Mr Porter sale - that was my chance.

I definitely would be! I can't view this item in eBay US - it says it has ended?? not sure what the deal is.

When I just used the link it said the BIN ends on May 14th at the latest. Maybe it was relisted. You'll have to contact the seller to determine shipping costs to the US. Weird that it won't show up on US Ebay. Just have to use the German site and use google translate, unless Higgins would like to offer some translation services.

Bahh! I had it all worked out until someone else bought it trough BIN. The seller responded to me in the middle of the night my time and when I woke up it was already purchased. Back to the drawing board....

Too bad I really like that version!!
