Can you find yourself in a Bond ?

ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
By accident one day I found out that I had been an aerial camera operator on
Octopussy. :)) ( Well we had the same name) ;) so have any other Members
Got the same or similar names to actors or crew etc who've worked on the
Bonds ? :D or a character in the Books ?

It was G Mulligan ( uncredited ) if anyone's interested, pity as I'd make a point of
stopping the credits, to show people. :))

Although I've never actually checked to see if he just might get a mention . ;)

I've never come across anyone with the same name as me. I'm the only person with my name that shows up anywhere on the internet. I know someone who has the same name as Mischka in Octopussy, though David Meyer is a very common name.

I've a mate who's an actor, more an extra really, as I have yet to see anything
He's done. He has mentioned a few things but I think they're either straight to
The Bargain DVD bin, or he's making it up and doing porn ! :))

Nope, no appearances in Bond movies. Supposedly I've had quite the soap opera career here in America and have also appeared in some mainstream movies to. Did a quick Google search and it looks I'm also running for President of the United States of America.

When Octopussy came out there was a short film that preceded it at the cinemas. The Brits may remember those days when you got a short film before the main feature back in the 80s. Anyway, the film was called "The Intruders" and it was about a nuclear submarine responding to an attack. My Dad was one of the sailors on the submarine, had a speaking part, AND got invited to the premiere of Octopussy. He didn't go to it, and he didn't even tell me about it until after it had been released so I effectively lost my chance to go to a Bond Premiere X-(

    Sad news indeed. :#

Speaking of short films, I can remember seeing two films. The main feature
And some other film on before it. :D sometimes the other film was better
    Than the main film. :))

I definitely remember seeing a Mr Magoo cartoon before Ghostbusters and then telling all my friends that it was better than the film.

I was lying by the way - Ghostbusters is amazing, even today!

Yes I do. (Only by surname though) My name is Jeroen, same name as Jeroen Krabbé, a wellknown Dutch actor that of course played Georgi Koskov in TLD. It's a very common Dutch name, about as common as James is in English I would say...

Ah, the two film thing. A short (about twenty minutes) followed by the main feature. Back in 1980 I took a new girlfriend to the cinema. The idea was to get on the back row & stuck into some serious snogging. To that end I didn't know what the film was. It turned out to be 'Airplane'. Needless to say the plans went out of the window & we just sat there laughing our heads off. The short was very funny too. Something about a werewolf as I recall.

Bad news about Octopussy. It would have been a night to remember.

I sAw :)) that too - it was Frankenweenie, and it was Tim Burton's first film - he remade it a couple of years ago, much higher budget - brilliant film.
