    Oh dear. Just some observations;

    1) it's a lapel pin, not a label pin. A correct title might get you more views.

    2) your images just link to postimage.org, so it's hard to get a good look at them. They're also all over to one side by 90deg. ccw, it hurts my head to look at them and my eyes are bleeding from attempting to focus on the small images.

    3) sensible offers vary wildly. Why not suggest a price? I'll give you a fiver for it.

    4) many members are from around the globe and will still be sleeping by the time your ebay listing goes live.

    5) be patient. I suspect a tone of mardiness because no one has snapped your arm off. We all appreciate being given a heads up or a first opportunity to buy, but give people a chance to respond. A little under an hour is no where near enough for word to get round.

    6) welcome to Ajb, take a look at the users guides in the site help, suggestions and announcement forum.

I was not bantering to get it sold quickly, just that I was new to the group. Apologies for the typo, but I think your rude comments are not necessary.

Sorry about the pictures, I can see them in my thread but I will look at uploading in a different format. Thank you

    Rude comments?

    I was actually trying to help you. However, I'll revert to your assumptions;

    1) it's LAPEL not label, which sounds like you've got a cold or are an ed millipede tribute act.

    2) your pics are $hit, they're too small, lop sided and go no where, which by miraculous similarity, is exactly how to describe your brain.

    3) sensible offers? Ok, so you got suckered in thinking that was once 007's door, but I'll bet that bit of Zamak is worth jaff all, so you can give me a fiver for taking it off you. The box is worth more than the tin inside.

    4) be patient you petulant dweeb, we're not all peddling our wares at this time of day.

    5) BE PATIENT

    6) don't bother reading the guides, you'll ignore them, chuck your rattle, go all bipolar or simply sell your nugget of tin and sod off once you've benefitted from the free advertising.

    Have nice day.

It actually got given by Dr Bez, so no was not suckered into it. I have dealings with Astons everyday so yes I do have an interest and no I won't be leaving.

Thought it would be of use to collectors. Yes and I said thank you for your help.

Some people are just after someone to bite, but hey I'm not getting personal.

So, it was given you by Dr. Bez?

So this makes it special, eh?
The question is why you are so desperate selling it that you are registering here in the hope to

    A. Save ebay fees
    B. Finding someone with big pockets and buys it off from you for crazy money.

Microjiff is right: You have something to sell - so do a minimum of homework.
Crisp pictures and a clear description is the minimum that you'd ask if you where the buyer.

So why are you giving less as the seller?

    Whatever, folks!

My first time in here and I'm being slated. I did realise the format of my pictures would not work and also description is in one of the photos within the certificate.

I'm selling it as it's just sat in a draw and seems a shame. I said open to offers as I've not got a clue what they go for, but obviously not silly offers.

Nice to feel welcome and apologies you feel the need to abusive!

Shows the level of people here, nice!

So I shall not be staying or wasting my time. I made a couple of mistakes as a first user, crime !!

Well, from experience I can say that the level of people here - you won't find a better bunch.

You registered only to sell your stuff here and are surprised to receive appropriate replies here?

Think what you want and yes can see it come across that way. I genuinely thought that it would be a nice collectible item and was not asking for mega bucks.

I'll walk away with my head held low

    Sorry!!

I'm all for that AS, what grates is when I sit down and take the time to try and help a stranger out by offering a few (what I thought were) helpful tips, only to be described as rude? ?:)

It seriously makes me wonder why I bother.

The amount of times we have people come here, post an ad then leave, or ask what something is worth, or simply get mardy like a petulant child when they don't hear what they want to.

I welcome all, with open arms and love to see newcomers flourish as I once did after joining what I consider the best bond forum available.

But for Christ sakes noobs, meet me half way and at least have the decency to read the guide (that I also took a substantial amount of time to write for the benefit of all AJBer's) so that you understand how 'we roll' around here.

And when you do slip up, and more established people try to help, don't jump to conclusions that we hate you, we're trying to help out!

Personally I'm too skeptical to take on face value that the door lapel pin got anywhere near James' car, let alone be a part of it.

BUT some go mental for these things, each unto their own.

Good luck with the sale Jodlebank9, and I hope you stick around.

    Thank you always shaken.

MJB I think if you stopped making judgement of people then they would stick around . 'Jodlebank'. Just can't help yourself can you! :))

Some of your comments were useful but it's the way you come across in you posts!

I have read the guide thank you , however it was after you guided me to it!
