If i could have closed the old one I would have done!
I don't see why members can't close there own threads?
Also when a thread is closed why is not erased it just looks messy on the screen?

But when Sir Miles closed your thread, he said that he already warned you before about starting multiple threads on the same topic; is that not true? If yes, it seems that what he did was a reasonable action.

We've seen this before recently where someone makes a request, gets no reply and within 24hrs another request is made, and made, and made.

The chances are that you're not being ignored or 'the usual suspects' are cutting you out of the loop, but most likely reason is no one can provide what you require.

Starting yet another thread on the same subject just gets boring and annoying. 'Bumping' your existing threads can equally result in eye rolling.

The main things to consider are that you need to have patience and give people time to respond and if no one is responding then the answer is probably 'no'.

As for Granny Miles, I can't really add anymore to whats already been said. From my own personal experiences of the guy, he's level headed, equal, tolerant and generous.

Remember that it's because of SiCo and his merry band of mod squaders that we have a forum to converse on, and if we were all left to our own devices we'd probably run riot and in my case photobomb every thread with pics of Rachel Riley. Not that there would be any issue there IMO.

Calm down Osrisisis, pick the rattle back up and stop it with the martyrdom.

Seriously, if he does something that's not out of rudeness - he always tries to make it for the good of the community, not for himself. And since this new guy has 7 posts by now I guess that makes him the expert in what should be best for ajb007? 8-)
