Do it like you've done it yet. But them you must manually click on the thumbnail.
On the very bottom you find a line and you click "zeige codes".
Then copy the link "Direkter link" by clicking on "in die Ablage kopieren".
Then you insert the copied url between

Alternatively upload the pics e.g. with fotos-hochladen.net, copy the full pic link and paste it between and you're done.
