    Moore didn't really find his Feet until TSWLM. Both LALD and TMWTGG are him settling gently into the Role -{

    Very much agreed, I particularly like Moore's performance as Bond in TMWTGG though. -{

    I think Moore's performance is excellent in his first two Bond films. He's pretty settled into the role in TMWTGG, it's just that TSWLM is a much better film.

    No one else other but Christopher Lee could have played Scaramanaga.

    Even though LALD is my favourite, I overall prefer his last 3 as I love all FYEO, OP, and AVTAK. Whereas, for me, TMWTGG is weaker, and TSWLM, while good, is not as good.
    1 - LALD, 2 - AVTAK, 3 - LTK, 4 - OP, 5 - NTTD, 6 - FYEO, 7 - SF, 8 - DN, 9 - DAF, 10 - TSWLM, 11 - OHMSS, 12 - TMWTGG, 13 - GE, 14 - MR, 15 - TLD, 16 - YOLT, 17 - GF, 18 - DAD, 19 - TWINE, 20 - SP, 21 - TND, 22 - FRWL, 23 - TB, 24 - CR, 25 - QOS

    1 - Moore, 2 - Dalton, 3 - Craig, 4 - Connery, 5 - Brosnan, 6 - Lazenby

    Grouped in that way, I'd say the first three. But I do think that FYEO is my favorite of all of them.

    Last three. I preferred 'older' Bond, and Moore is the only one who could do it.

    I've always liked Bonds 'Fatherly' Relationship with Stacey in AVTAK. Staying up whilst she sleeps, going with her to City Hall, etc. ( it's fatherly until the Ending though :)) )

    Speaking about fatherly relations and slightly off-topic:

    I immensely enjoy the fatherly relation between Bond and Draco in OHMSS! {[] {[] {[]

    Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!

    Dalton is the Bond! Lazenby is the other fella.

    Sir Roger is great in the film - it's just a shame the writing and direction were lacklustre.

    But the Cast obviously make up for it though -{

    I like the last three better. I think the creative collaboration of Tom Mankiewicz and Guy Hamilton is the series low point.

    Thought it was funny on " Premium Bonds" when Mark Gattis ( a big Bond fan)
    said that the best way to watch AVTAK, was to imagine some old guy thought
    He was a spy. :))
    Not saying I agree with him, just thought it was an amusing idea. ;)

    By this, essentially James St. John Smythe pretends he is James Bond, sometimes pretending to be James Stock.

    Am I the only one who is not affected by Roger's age in AVTAK? Doesn't bother me in the slightest. Yes he looks old(ish), but not 70 or anything. In fact, he looked very good for 57.

    Of his first three, I enjoyed Live And Let Die and The Spy Who Loved Me.

    Of his second three, I enjoyed For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy.

    I'm going with Moore's first three, although in some ways his last three were more assured entries. For me personally, LALD and TSWLM are among the very best Bond movies.

    I agree; Moore's age never bothered me as a young'un. In-between Octopussy and AVTAK I believe he had some cosmetic surgery done & while it changed his look somewhat, he still looked pretty damn good at 57.

    Moore gave some of his strongest Performances in LALD and TSWLM.

    Bond threatening to kill Rosie if she doesn't tell the Truth, and Bond explaining to Anya that he had no Choice but to kill her Lover.
