Spectre (Specte?) Spectre! episode is here! A bit delayed due to Australia getting it so late. We recorded this episode literally a few hours after Ben and I got back from seeing it so our reactions were all spur of the moment and a bit all over the place. Colin had about a week to formulate ideas and opinions. We will do a proper recap net year when the Blu Ray comes out and perhaps another Spectre episode before then but we don't have anything planned. I agree with Ben here, the 80's are my fav decade so far, TLD and OP are my top two with FYEO at 7th. I like the other as well despite where I've placed them in my rankings
Someone agrees with Ben? Has hell frozen over? haha...I am in a similar boat, I have ranked bunch of them in lower spots but I still really enjoy some of them like A View to a Kill.

I'm pretty much in agreement with Noah here about TWINE. It's just...boring. Action is not that exciting, Renard under utilised. Ben mentioned Azerbaijan, we see nothing of it except oil fields. Compare Istanbul in TWINE vs FRWL/SF, there is no immersion in the country.
It does have one of the best PTS, Elektra is a good villain, and I like the return of Zukovsky.
So this belongs almost at the bottom. And I didn't even mention Christmas Jones in my pros and cons
The invisible car is one of those things where I just don't have a strong opinion on. I don't hate it but it is a bit unnecessary. As for the Madonna cameo....

Agree, the tyre tracks and engine noise give it away, but it's a cool gimmick. And Zao happens to have bloody heat recognition!
What I think is Madonna is in the film all of 30 seconds. There have been far worse "actors" who have been in the films for longer. Leading actors included.
Sorry, I have been horrible at keeping updates and posting (on this thread and in the forums as a whole). We took a break from the Craig films to record a general episode on the Fleming novels. Ben couldn't join us as he is at reading school at the moment. If you are a fan of the books or are interested (we are very light on spoilers) then please check it out.
We are planning to finish off the DC films in the next two weeks or so. We have had a bit of a break over December/January but are getting back into the swing of things now. After that we will do a Craig decade ep and a final watch through episode. That should take us to episode 39 and beginning with episode 40 we will begin a whole new series of episodes which will take over the main focus (like the films at the moment) but we will also have other unrelated episodes in between I am sure. More on that later!

We also recorded a wrap up episode with some behind the scenes discussion as a kind of parallel to our opening episode. It is in this episode that we discuss our next major ongoing project to compliment the film recaps.
