Why the heck are Skyfall and QoS not being released in the UK (they say because Skyfall had a UK steelbox release and QOS had a UK DVD steel box release) Crazy the artwork won't match!!

Im afraid not, UK only gets 7 instead of the 9
Media Market don't ship out of Germany by the looks of it and I think the US discs from the 50th anniversary was region locked if I'm not mistaken?
Hmmm I am 90% sure QOS only came out as a DVD steelbook in the UK so thats a little upsetting. I'll find out about the region lock.
Best buy are selling these for 12 dollars I think - whats that 8 quid? Hopefully region free.
Pity Amazon aint selling instead of Zavvi
PS - whats the odds the SPECTRE steelbook will have totally different artwork format 8-)
I agree about Amazon as well. Zavvi are terrible for customer service or even just customer communication. I have emailed them a question about an order before and rather than reply, they just canceled it and sent me a stock email reply.
No doubt the SPECTRE one will be different. Just like Goldfinger, Goldeneye and Skyfall. I know they have released these beacuse of their link to SPECTRE but keeping them in the same theme would be nice.
Good point - for heaven's sake he even talks about Spectre... 8-)
Wish it was there instead of Diamonds (prob my worst EON film of the series)
Code is 50VCUK50
Valid until 19th July 2015.
It doesn't matter where they are sold. There are a few apps that allow you to download and watch UltraViolets. I use one called flixster that work in partnership with them. Free and easy to use.
Personally, I'm going to skip these. While the artwork and packaging are nice, the films are the same. I'm getting the hot flashes I had when buying the 17th version of the original Star Wars Trilogy that was released. I think I own that collection in every possible viewing format available (x3). I already bought the complete Blu-Ray set of the 22 Bond films before Skyfall was released, so I consider my collection complete. I've since picked up a few digital versions of the films I really want via iTunes - as I much rather have the actual digital file on my computer than have to join some site in order to stream it online.
But for those that opted out of the previous release, The Ultimate James Bond Collection sounds like to one to save for as it's got a few extra special features, etc.
Kind regards,
Craig
17 lol
What pisses me off about these are the collection is not complete and its really a gamble (EON don't look like they are going to say otherwise) and they have justified it by saying its the SPECTRE films so I'm being pessimistic
It's such a shame, because I love the artwork!!
I mean Amazon for us in the United States. You are correct that the codes can be redeemed through other vendors (I use Vudu) I'm just pointing out the irony that here the only place that sells the set is Amazon and the Digital HD codes aren't compatable with their own service...
I won't be getting these but that's primarily due to my reservations about steel books generally as several of my non Bond titles have started to show signs of rust on the covers.
Damn, I missed it!
Anyway, are these worth getting? I have two sets of Blu-rays (the original releases and the Bond 50 boxset). They look rather pretty, but is there anything more to them? Will they be doing all the movies like this, I'd guess not.
They just look cool - thats all
