1. Paris Carver (TND) - she had a small role and died so soon, but her acting was perfect
2. Natalya Simonova - follows the Dalton era's more respectable portrayal of women
3. Famke Jameson - YES! she was quite a crazed henchwoman. totally immersed.
4. Wai Lin (TND) - rogue-ish chinese agent, had a different kind of relationship with bond
5. Elektra King - a unique twist on the standard villain, props on innovation.
6. Jinx Johnson - I'm not giving her extra points just because she's Halle Berry.
7. Miranda Frost - not horrible, but still pretty dull. doesn't add much to the movie
8. Christmas Jones - couldn't act out of a trial if Cochran were her lawyer
Overall, the women in the Brosnan era were very good, arguably better than the actresses in Connery's. Dalton's era was short and had less women because it was more focused on monogamy. And this is a huge step up from the ridiculousness of the Moore era. Vesper aside, Eon's going to have to do some real catching up if the Craig era.

I'd say Pierce Brosnan was really lucky with his girls ^^
Roger Moore had some real babes aswell but not constantly
They were done half-heartedly - much like anything in his era. The producers didn't have a timeframe for these movies - they were done adhoc ie Judi Dench getting flummoxed because TND was still being written as they were filming. Therefore, they put up with whoever the castings decided. And unfortunately the studios decided with some terrible ideas.
Halle Berry, Denise Richards and Teri Hatcher (Michelle Yeoh?) were all studio decisions. They were wanted because they put bums on seats. There characters were woefully underprepared and dreadfully acted. Halle Berry coming off the worst. But Natalya came off OK and Electra was well written generally because Michael Apteds wife messed with the script.
They didn't seem to care in the Brosnan years. The girls were there to look good in a bikini, trade smart quips with Pierce and then snuggle up in bed. I truly don't think Babs and Mickey got the hang of the Bond girls until Vesper Lynd..
to say the girls were done half-hartedly is one thing, but to say that everything if this era is is bulls**t, sorry!
2. Xenia - one of the best villains of the series
3. Elektra - another strong female villain
4. Wai Lin - again, good Bond girl
5. Miranda Frost - one of the best parts of DAD
6. Paris Carver - good character, maybe not played by the right person
7. Jinx - one of the the worst parts of DAD
8. Christmas Jones - we all know why
Sorry, but there wasn't the mistakes made under Cubby and Harry; and Babs and Mickey didn't get their angle with Bond until the Craig era
i think it is down to the directors. All pulling in completely the wrong direction.And also getting Purvis and Wade to write the scripts. .

Wow man, I rarely came across something like this concerning Teri Hatcher! (No offense of course! ) I personally thought she was a terrible addition to the movie, there was zero chemistry with her and Brosnan in that movie (they disliked each other off screen too, which might explain it.) Also, I would have much prefered to see Monica Belucci in that role, who was also casted for it. (Luckily we will see her in Bond this year
