Q's laptop

Since VAIO has been sold I was almost certain they would be no laptops in the movie. And here we are, with Q using a very SONY'ish laptop but even though I'm pretty much a computer freak I have no bloody idea what that is. There is also a laptop on M's desk.

If anyone came across a similar design please help! The power button looks very similar to those on the last VAIO's that were in production, however they never used blue LED if I'm correct and also those 3 smaller indicators next to it are something new...

Neverthless I want to know what kind of laptop he's using Yes it looks old but I don't care! Still haven't identified the model unfortunately I don't think it's a SONY because they had power buttons on the right usually and since this one looks like a post 2010 machine (16:9 screen so it can't be that old). They may have made the computers just for the movie as props.

By the way, weird that Q is a guy who creates awesome futuristic stuff, yet his laptop's screen bezel was fixed with a ducktape lol

Looks like an acer aspire i had- no idea which model, there are thousands, but the have that silver top with the beveled edges, and Qs stickers are covering logo exactly.

You might be on to something but in that case it might be a Samsung as well. Eh feels weird, all these years with Sony (first VAIO in The World is not Enough I think) and now THIS.

Just a heads up: Q's laptop was not custom made for the movie, it's a Clevo P150SM-A (in US it goes under another name) and it's a gaming laptop -{

You never know I was actually pretty convinced it was custom made all the time, because the placing of the ports on the back of the computer (between the vents) is pretty odd - they're placed uneven and there is only one of each type. But the machine itself is pretty powerful so I guess it's something Q might actually use. -{
