If you could do your own Bond-a-thon, by order of actor...

OK if you had an opportunity to watch all 23 films, but had the option of choosing the order of the different actors' eras you would watch, what would your viewing list look like? (The stipulation is that the whole of the actor's era MUST be viewed, so all 6 of Connery's contribution would be together.)
Mine would be:
Connery era - he was the original; he MUST be first
Dalton's 2 - more Flemingesque, before we get to the silly stuff
OHMSS - need something lighter after LTK
Moore era - occasional silliness, but some light-hearted fun
Craig era - back to the serious stuff
Brosnan era - end with the more escapist stuff, though I may cheat a bit here and watch DAD before TWINE )

"Well, he certainly left with his tails between his legs."

By the Moore films. I'd then go with the Brosnan era ( same style as Roger).
Then ending with Dalton and Craig.
Probably doesn't make sense, by time line etc, but for mood and style of films
Connery/Lazenby, classic films
Moore/ Brosnan, lighter in tone, very entertaining.
Dalton/Craig, a harder edge, and darker in mood.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Water based Bond films or
Snow /ski chase films ....
Gadget filled epics... Etc.
May not be "Proper" ( Granddad) but it's contemporary thinking, from
Young minds. Like fusion cuisine or pot noodle !
Same here, love to do Bond-a-thons. But it has to be done in regular order if you ask me! With the exception of having to switch those two movies up in this case.

Traditional Granddad types and the Young, virile, contemporary
Stunningly good looking members like ........... well ME ! )
I'm also in the granddad club, since I have the knowledge and experience to know how to do things the way that works best.
2...Connery era
3...Craig era
4...Dalton era
5...Moore era
6...Brosnan era
Ha! Well... as it's entirely feasible that I could become a Granddad anytime from here on in, I can't really argue with being put in the Granddad club.
And, it's equally damning that most of my top favourite Bond films are from the 1960s.
I'm just glad to be in such good company...
Two of my top favourites are Casino Royale and Skyfall. Another two are Roger Moore films. Does that mitigate my Dark Side leanings?
