Since the far east is estimated to be the leading economical power by 2016, do you think this will have any influence on future installments? Future asian villains? Bond in the far east?
I for one wouldn't mind if Bond turned his back on this continent since I think it is a bit overused allready. what's your opinion? ?:)

Like filming another one.
If the market for 007 films increases in China and across Asia, it's a safe bet that Bond films will be set there in future - as was the case with the US market and both DAF and LALD...
Feel, about them. Which I think is important for Bond.
And the wrong one I have chose
Let's go where I'll keep on wearin'
Those frills and flowers and buttons and bows
Rings and things and buttons and bows.
Those exotic locations are always one of my favourite things with Bond, it's a bit like travelling for the price of a cinema ticket.
Now that the coming big markets are in Asia, those would prefer locations in Europe and probably Africa - that's one of the reasons why Skyfall was located in London Istanbul and Scotland.
With a stronger market in Asia, in my opinion the chances get less and less to have asian location, i am sure that they want to see something more spectacular than their own neighborhood in a Bond movie
That would be like someone shot a movie on TP's filthy parkinglot
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Speaking about what your kids do there? :v

Has the DVD appeared yet, TP, or is it still only on that Betamax tape you tried to sell me last week?
There are some stunning locations in Asia. Infact parts of China are
Amazing, and would look fantastic. Or there's always ......
Fight sequence on top of The Cranes at Harland And Wolff.
( Samson and Goliath )
Brilliant car chase along the beautiful Antrim coast.
Villain's Lair at the Marble Arch Caves.
Some romantic scenes at "The Giant's Causeway" and
A fight on the " Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge"
All Highly exotic locations.
Tax breaks for film companies to come and shoot there .
I agree completely about exotic locations being part of a good Bond film, but then again it's equally great to see 007 travel to one's home town. Didn't you feel that way about TND and Hamburg? I even give Octopussy a bonus in my ranking because of the (unfortunately very brief) scenes in West Berlin.
"- That is something to be afraid of."
East, West, just points of the compass, each as stupid as the other.
Of course I was happy to see Hamburg in a Bond movie - but the population of Bejing for example would prefer Paris or Rome instead of Guangzhou or Dalian in the cinema.
