I'm a fan of the Scotch and Soda Ralstons DC has worn, and I think I'm going in. Any advise on a wash based on the current offerings? Maybe "touchdown" or "beaten track?" Thanks to all for any input!
I have Scotch jeans in both washes. The Touchdown wash is great if you want a pair of of plain, dark blue denim that can be dressed up with a sport jacket and button-up shirt. As you wear them, they will fade over time and create unique wear marks throughout the jeans. Beaten Track is the best choice if you want your jeans to already have a more worn-in look, as they feature fading across the front & back. I'd say Beaten Track is a good choice if you want the look of Craig's jeans from Dragon Tattoo (the out-of-production Dark Worn wash), but Touchdown is better if you want a pair of dressier, "pristine" dark wash jeans. Or, don't worry about deciding and just get both! )
The jeans are definitely Selvedge too. the jeans I got from them last month was their brand new season 'summer' Japanese selvedge jeans. I doubt its them but it was the only new Selvedge jeans that Rag and Bone shop had.
Understand. Its just the stitching on the middle of fly section (vertical fleck) does not appear on any Rag and Bone jeans
Here's the pic of my jeans. These aren't the same "wash" as DCs, but the vertical fleck is there. These jeans match the Austria photoshoot.
How come some Rag and Bone jeans have that and some don't?
While I'm not sure about the jeans, I'll bet $20 that henley is the Standard Issue Basic Henley by Rag & Bone, just like the Othello promo picture henley. (Apologies if it's been ID'd already.)
Saks Fifth Avenue sells them, but I can't properly post the link for some reason.
Just a bit of gossip here, my plumber was telling me yesterday that he was out in Beverly East Yorkshire over the easter holiday and stopped with his wife for a drink, and in the bar was DC enjoying a lunch time pint with two ladies. I know there were rumours he was buying a house there some time ago so maybe they were right? I asked the plumber what was he drinking and he said Guinness, I also asked him what he had on his feet and he said brown suede boots!! My plumber is not a bond fan at all.

I'm curious if anyone knows how big he is? Anybody have screen used jacket/shirt? Anybody met him?
I wouldn't call him big. All the screen used off the peg stuff I have are mediums. 38 to 40 inch chest, 32 inch waist with a 30 inch length on trousers. Shirts are around a 15 1/2 to 16 inch neck. I'd say he's around 5ft 9in to 5ft 10in at most. UK shoe size 9.

JTM on the Budget Bond thread recommends HopShopGo for buying in the USA and then having it shipped internationally: according to the site if you're in the UK you get your package in 5-8 days for $24 USD for the first 0.5kg, then $4 each half kg after that. ($28.80 for express and $4.80 each extra 0.5kg which will reach you in 3-4 days)
Thank you for the extra info AMM. It seems temperamental at the moment (keeps jumping to a bad request page upon searching any website) but I'll try the site again later (maybe an overnight bug or glitch). Also, I seem to be able to find Nordstrom, but not Nordstrom Rack which might be a problem in this particular case.
Just a quick note on sizing of the avery, mine is a large and fits perfectly, I am 6' 4" with currently a 44/45" chest and a 35" waist, my old grey one from a while ago was an XL and fitted the same. Not sure if sizing has altered or the run mine is from are running bigger? Anyway check sizing chart if I were you.

I've reached out to Rag & Bone as well to see if they can identify.
