I hope the below BBC link works

We have the opinions with Sweet and Gattiss on Connery. If it works then I'll post the rest (particularly the Americans)
My big problem is Gattiss who is an expert on Dr Who (particularly the Pertwee era) but do we have to have his opinion on Bond?

Gatiss is very knowledgeable about films...he had a great series on Horror Films on BBC2 last year - plus he writes for Doctor Who and Sherlock (he's the co-creator for the Cumberbatch series - as well as being in it)....plus he's written several books.
When Gatiss was in The League of Gentlemen they often referenced films - Bond being one of them...
I like Gatiss and would happily listen to his thoughts on many subjects -{
episode of Sherlock.
Yeah, your right about Gattis. I love him in Sherlock and his Who scripts are, lets put it this way, pedestrian. Should read 'Last of the Gadarene'. But it is useful listening to him. And to be honest I did love him in League of Gentleman
I'll post the rest, just let me know if you cant access the BBC website..

They should have made that into a 'proper' series....very enjoyable -{
Higgins better not watch them though {:) )
Did you ? ;%
Just goes to show nobody reads your posts then )
Indeed not !
)
Oh I didn't know. Quite a good interpretation of Craig.
I also get a kick out of hearing many of my ideas coming out of Mark Gatiss's mouth )
He really is an intelligent guy. ( He obviously reads my posts, even gave him a film title ) )
I loved Gatiss' comment about AVTAK: "If you watch this film not as a James Bond film, but as a film about an elderly man who thinks he is a secret agent, it is absolutely charming!"
And I chuckled when 'Thunderpussy' came up on screen!
TP - what scene from OHMSS did Sherlocks use? Was it the staged train/airline crash with the already dead passengers?
Perhaps they've expired, I think iPlayer media is usually only available for a limited period.
Mine seems to be working
There's a nice documentary called "Sean Connery: In His Own Words" which is available on iPlayer too.
Warning though, despite the title, Connery himself isn't in the documentary and instead it's just clips of old interviews etc. intertwined with new interviews with the likes of Brosnan, Dougray Scott and many more.
