Hi all!

This was quite a big project for me and one that set me back over $500 USD (not to mention almost two months worth of waiting for parts). I think the end result is fantastic but, as it turns out, the watch really isn't for me. It's just a tad big at 42mm (I'm used to wearing a Zeno Explorer - 36mm - Layer Cake inspired purchase) and I wanted to make sure I brought this to the Bond community so that someone here could really appreciate it. I've worn it for only two weeks, so the watch is barely used and the only diving I've done is desk diving.

I'm looking for $300 USD (CONUS only, please) or best offer and this is for a tried and true Seiko that is reminiscent of a certain Omega said to be featured in Spectre. The watch is comprised of parts supplied by Yobokies (he supplied the base watch and the coin edge bezel, seamaster dial, custom hands set, bezel insert and aluminum chapter ring) and Dagaz (who supplied the "superdome" sapphire crystal). This movement is easily and cheaply serviced and can even be replaced if it comes to it. Some people have owned this same model Seiko for over 20 years.

The only reason I'm not asking for more is that I took it upon myself to try and relume the watch with "vintage patina" lume from watchlume.com. It didn't come out perfect, by any means. If you have a look at the photos, you can see some of the application is uneven but you could just as well say that that's how vintage tritium ages...OR you could reach out to Yobokies for a new set of hands ($26) and a new dial ($38) - everything else about the watch is flawless.

To me, it checks off all the boxes when it comes to the profile of the watch. The polish on this thing is fantastic and, at a quick glance, shines like the real thing (the hands shine, too). That's something you really can't capture in the photos. Here's a picture of the Omega's profile and then the Seiko's.

The "superdome" sapphire crystal (by Dagaz) is perfect for this watch because the edge of the crystal stands slightly above the bezel, mimicking the look of the Omega quite well.

And another wrist shot - keep in mind, I've got a small wrist. Well, actually I have two. Here's one of those wrists with the watch on it.

If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me. Thanks so much, guys! Oh and it you want to check out my credentials, look up gentleman*scholar_inthatorder on ebay. Have a good one!

That's $300 USD shipped CONUS, I'll cover paypal fees. I'll also include the Seiko rubber strap that came with it. Again, if you were to contact the Seiko modders yourself, you'd wind up spending over $500. Let's put this into perspective...the Seiko SXK007 is about $200 new. The coin edge bezel from Yobokies is $55 and the "superdome" sapphire crystal from Dagaz is $85, so right there, you're at $340. So that's before you take into consideration the shipping from Hong Kong, bezel insert, dial, hands set and the Crown & Buckle premium NATO strap.

Talk to you soon!
