So I got this for christmas. I have to say it's a great book! I don't really mind that it's a smaller version compared to the original (more premium one) I just felt I wanted the most up to date version of this book, and it defenitely seems to be the most comprehensive Bond book out there at the moment

One minor detail I noticed is how the Skyfall section has not been updated, also not on the contents page. It still just shows the Skyfall logo, instead of screencaps from the main titles, like all the other movies.

Finally got word from Amazon that I should be expecting delivery around January 18-19.

I'm not sure what the delay has been for when this book apparently was released back on December 10.

Amazon finally shipped my copy yesterday and it arrived this morning. It must weigh 10 pounds at least. If this is the "mini" version I hazard to think what previous edition weighed.

I have to say it makes an interesting read - can't imagine the size of the original as the 'compact' version isn't small!

The original is massive. But the thing about the original is you want the ones with the film strip. And even then you want a good scene. I had a defective book and had to get another one. Lucky because the first book didn't have a good scene. The replacement has a good one though.
