Funny you should mention I am Legend. A friend works for Sony Image works and when I was in LA a few years ago I was visiting him at the studio and I was shown the original make up shots. They looked so awesome, but they had to change them to CGI at the 11th hour.
I'm looking forward to the new Star Wars for all the practical affects, puppets etc.
As Kincade said " Sometimes, the old ways are the best"
I know stop frame is basically dead, but I remember seeing
Some footage from Jurassic Park, using it ( before they decided
to CGI the Dino's) and it impressed me, very natural movement.
Although I can understand using CGI for that movie as the amount
of time " Stop motion" would have needed.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
I guess the word you were looking for is TERRIBLE
even the video looks very cheap
Thank you for your constructive and well thought out feedback HatThrowingHenchman remembering that several human beings with feelings have put a lot of time and effort in to this. I appreciate the time you took to write just one positive thing and being a true supportive member of the James Bond community.
I wish you well with all your creative endeavours in the future
maybe I chose the wrong and too harsh words!
what I meant is that I don't particularly like her interpretation of the song and so on.
as for the video, I didn't read that you made it, I thought something else.
I really didn't want to insult you and your work!
I apologise...

No harm done. Cheers for the apology.
It is a very different interpretation of the song and it's not going to be to every ones taste. I myself still prefer the original Adele version and I personally think backing track could have been bigger to give give it a more Bond feel but I wasn't involved in that side of the production just the visuals.
Making Bond video stuff is great fun and reminds me of being a kid when I first got into film-making running around the house in a tux shooting mini Bond movies.

I really like the TBE titles
"You see Mr.Bond, you can't kill my dreams...but my dreams can kill you.Time to face destiny" - "Time to face gravity"
A little bit of anger management therapy needed there, but essentially I agree!
CGI is a tool that should be used alongside miniatures, mattes and other old school techniques. The most annoying thing is Hollywood is convinced is papers over a crappy script. In actuality it does the reverse, making things worse! That's why I am approaching the new Star Wars with extreme caution, till I see the promise of practical effects.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

I just had fun trying to replicate and take inspiration from the various title sequences in a similar way I did with the Rebel music video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WU5M8hC_TvE and the Bond Experience titles https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQT47hHrZaA I directed.

just to add to our discussion on bad cgi, here are a few
Baffling uses of it.
Shelley's a very good singer however her style doesn't go with the song at all.
Bond: “I must be dreaming.”

Here's how Skyfall should be sung.
