Not Clothes or specs or shoes

Does anyone still collect old fashioned bond stuff that isnt a sweater , shoes, jacket, specs, socks sort of thing. Not seen any for a while on here. Oh, and not watches although I am a watch enthusiast. Clothes and specs and the like seem to have taken over. Come on, someone out there must be developing a new spear gun , attache case, little nellie, assault rifle, tracking device, miniature DB5, bowler hat etc.

    People used to talk about the bulldog from Skyfall. All those things were yesterday's movies. You have to find cool things from Spectre. People don't seem to care so much about the past. :(

    Very nice Kan, knew I could rely on you to have something goods stashed away. Would be nice to see what SD stuff you have Higgins. I have an SD GG myself and some bullets. Lucky enough to have one of jeffs casino chips he did earlier this year and ready for his next project whatever it may be.
    Lets have a show and tell session and try and overtake the posts regarding bonds new underpants and deck shoe collection.
    Just wait, I will be on here in about 10 years telling you all about my new fascination with Bond clothing and what a knobber I was for dissing it. Cest la vie baby !!

    I second this. The clothing thing just gets tedious for me. Props and replica props as well as some of the better books and comic books(Really excited for the release of the VARGR series comics due Nov. 4th) are actually far more interesting to me. I have a couple clothing pieces but my Moonraker lazer gun and Skyfall Bulldog may very well be my most prized possessions. :)

    The problem with SPECTRE is that all the gadgets and props used come with big spoilers, so we can't really discuss them in depth yet.

    It seems like clothes are how many people want to "be Bond" in recent months and years. I collected rare books for over 30 years and now almost exclusively collect props and replica props, particularly Bond casino items.

    There are still a jillion avid toys, books, magazines, posters, etc. collectors if eBay is an indication and I wish they would post here as well.

    Very nice! I considered the deer statue as well, but decided a 1:1 sign would be much more desirable (and easier to sculpt & cast).

    About two years ago an AJB member asked if it was possible to make the Moonraker Dr. Holly Goodhead 'Deadly Diary' after much research and help from other AJB members I came up with this.

    IMG_0705.jpg

    The tube in the spine is spring loaded and can fire the dart around 4-5 metres, however it has been difficult to create a trigger firing mechanism which I am happy with, so this little project has been put to one side for now, until I find the time to solve the problem.

    Beautiful stuff, David! -{

    There were some great props in "Skyfall"! Did anyone ever take a stab at the radio? Signature grip PPK? Or perhaps Patrice's suitcase/rifle? I would love to tackle a "working" prop like these but simply don't have the time these days.

    Hi guys
    The head sculpt of Connery's FRWL pose is done by Eden Small. He is an Australian that used to live near me in Sydney. He was a painter by trade and a very down to earth nice guy. He talents was very impressive as he sculpted on the side. He put a resume together of his work and sent it to Weta Works. And hoila he got a job there. That was some 8 years ago, maybe more. I still have 2 of his Connery sculptures used a "bookends".
    Regards, Sid

    I have this model too, although it remains unpainted and in the box. It is what is referred to as a "garage kit". If memory serves it was sculpted by a guy who goes by the name of Eden Small. Long since out of production. Excellent likeness! If you are looking for items like this you must get the magazine Amazing Figure Modeler.
