This is beautiful, Kan! Was this a retail item, or did you make it/commission someone to make it? Are there sculpts of the other Bonds as well?
Kind regards,
Craig
Hi guys
The head sculpt of Connery's FRWL pose is done by Eden Small. He is an Australian that used to live near me in Sydney. He was a painter by trade and a very down to earth nice guy. He talents was very impressive as he sculpted on the side. He put a resume together of his work and sent it to Weta Works in Wellington, New Zealand. And hoila he got a job there doing stuff for the Weta movies like Lord of the Rings, Superman, Avatar, etc. That was some 8 years ago, maybe more. I still have 2 of his Connery sculptures used a "bookends". This is the only Bond sculpt done by him as far as I know and its beautiful as Kan's pic shows. IMHO the best Connery face sculpt I have seen to date. It was a very small production run.
Sorry if this has been asked or answered somewhere else on the board but after seeing The Mantis' Spectre Ring, does anybody know if there will be an official version of this released for sale?

Any chance you can shed some light on the blue TWINE sunglasses? I know it's generally accepted that there's no known brand involved, but nevertheless...

A few Spectre props, just to keep it contemporary...baton is foam and rubber...was really difficult not getting any underwear pictures in frame (yes, beating a dead horse...).
It does seem that the traditional collections (toys and such with few props or costumes) like mine and Nick Bennett's are of pretty much zero interest now.

Well I am so glad I started this thread but can I kindly now request that we have some input from others. I am massively impressed with all of the items shown so far and long may it continue but also would be happy to see any creations from junior creators such as junior mini jeff type people who may have started to make some props. Also keen to see if we have any collectors who are just starting out in their collecting world or any collectors with smaller budgets who have made the most out of little. It always amazes me the level of detail people go into into recreating props and bond scenarios. Keep it coming !! It might encourage those that have littyle secret stashes to show and tell things we havent seen before. Totes excellance.
Well I have some good news for you Uncle. If you post me the grenade and the watch I am happy to double your outlay. You can keep the jam jar though. Well done.

Well, here you go....props AND underwear...how's that for a mix?
now what was that line Mae West used to say......"Is that a gun in your pants or are you just happy to see me....."
props and underwear....
Not stricly underwear. Who wears swimming trunks under something except Batman and Superman.
Hahaha! On a side note...that Macau chip and deck of cards...good stuff!
While I didn’t build the SPECTRE Tow sled…I made the twin spearguns mounted on the original prop.

Look at those props!
Wait, I want a closer look. I better git me glasses on...
That's better. WOW! Looks like EM has finally gotten some decent items collected.

Yes it does appear to be the case, but as long as you still get pleasure from your collection then it's worth it -{
BTW nice pics and impressive collection -{
I'm not sure that's true...I suppose it can be easier to get clothing than actual props nowadays, so that's the 'boom' market...
Impressive collection PMJB -{
I recently made this...
Included here to show that props can be created cheaply and easily. This cost me about £10 to make. (Not including the watch!)
Sorry Sir Miles, but you can have 'All the Tea in the World'
