I've bought 2 of those when they were half price at £35. Really impressed with it. There is a current version with removable collar and SA looking pockets that I bought today for £85. Pretty close.... Will post a pic.
This jacket is driving me crazy; it's like I'm obsessed. It seems like every designer and his/her dog has some version that comes close, but just misses on the details.
Half the jacket design seems to be based on a biker jacket (asymmetrical front zip, zips at cuffs) and half seems to more like a deck jacket (collar shape and inside placket buttons). And then there is the possibility that it originally had a shearling collar, which some have speculated. And no one seems to be able to find it; I'm still thinking it is a one-off design or sample that never made it into production.

I think he is referring to the short seams which just dart out a short distance from the shoulders… in which case is unique in this jacket..
Pardon, I thought he said "vertical"! Stupid me I'm no expert gentlemen, so sorry - all I know that a lot of jackets have a single vertical stitching on the back
I am 99% sure that this jacket is a Dior Homme jacket. I've found a longer version of it, that has a lot of the same details. Obviously different collar, but the buttons, zip (leather facing though), flapped pockets (minus the snap), the two horizontal lines on the back, zip cuffs, and the look of the zipper pulls. Pretty sure the buttons say Dior Homme on the Mr White jacket too.
Finding the actual jacket used in the film seems to be impossible. It's either a custom job by Dior, or a heavily modified jacket. I'm also confident that it is not from Hedi Slimane's time at the Dior house either, so it is recent.

Either way, it's probably going to be expensive.
I looked at the other pictures of the Dior Homme Shearling Coat on Farfetch, and I'm inclined to believe your conclusions. Too many details scream Dior Homme.
I was fortunate enough to be in a position to pick up the Skyfall "trinity" of jackets (BR, Menlo, & Barbour).. Did snag the JV at the closeout price.. but hanging my hopes on the White & the Matchless jackets to be faithfully reproduced by the likes of Magnoli etc.. I just can't drop $1k+ on a jacket.... Sigh... Point being.. I do sincerely hope they step up and fill the void for the segment of members here without the disposable income ! -{

Have you reached out to Dior with a picture and asked them if it is their jacket? Now that the movie is out they may be open to revealing if it is indeed their jacket

Yep. Sent them a few tweets and emails, but nothing yet.
BREAKING NEWS ...
I confirm : IT IS DIOR HOMME !
I went to the flagship store in Paris today and discussed with the team there : even though they could not precise the exact year of the collection it belongs to, they confirm there is a 100% distinctive sign which is the stitching behind the shoulders. See below a picture of a very close model of bomber that is available in the current collection (but unfortunately not exactly the same : different fabric, no zip on the sleeves) : it has the exact same "scar" which is indeed a distinctive Dior homme signature.
Also the my white jacket does have a removable wool collar - just like the one I took a picture of today - you clearly see the button on the back of the collar in the movie.
The good news is the jacket is identified
The very bad news is that the jacket is according to me - and confirmed by the Dior team after checking the global catalogues worldwide for almost 45 min - IMPOSSIBLE to find since it belongs to an older collection.
THIS JACKET IS KILLING ME
I will try to forget it now
Dior finally emailed me back. They are saying that it is probably a Tom Ford jacket; I sent them pics from the Mr White scenes.
I'm sure they are mistaken, as all the details, and a few confirmations from Dior store say it is a Dior jacket.
It is 100% Dior...it could have been someone from Dior who is not in the 'know"....I have reached out to corporate and Dior Design, and no response back as of yet...

I don't see many jackets that have those darts over the shoulder blades.
Sold out now, correct? Couldn't find it on the website.

Just think of the fun you can have trying to track it down on the secondary market. It's what collecting legends are made of
How does the one on the left look?
It is from the Dior Homme F/W 2012 line up.
No as it has real flap type pockets
I think it was last season but if you have a Next Clearence store nearby might be worth a visit
Cheers :007))

Even IF they reissue, it will be mad expense, so a select few will be able to purchase.
