Was given this Fleming Biography and just started reading it. Was wondering if any members had read it and had thoughts on it?

Though there's another one or two Fleming bios coming up, Lycett's bio is supposed to be the most definitive to date and I highly recommend it, very detailed and insightful. I've flipped through John Pearson's Fleming Bio and since it was written much earlier, it's fair to say that the Lycett had better research and reference material as it's the case with historical subjects with newly acquired interviews, letters, etc. (there's also an audio version of Pearson's book, which I plan to get in the future; I have the audio book of the Official 007 Biography and it was both a good read and listen). I also listened to the audio book of Lycett's version and it was a unique but equally pleasing "read." Lastly, I've actually had a brief email correspondence with Mr. Lycett regarding Fleming's cigarette case, but unfortunately, he couldn't answer my question.

There's already a thread on this book: http://www.ajb007.co.uk/topic/44516/fleming-biography-by-andrew-lycett/ so I'll close this one.
