Hi guys, mods I've posted this here as I felt it the most relevant place to put it.
I'm not one to put too much of my family life in the public eye, but felt for a number of reasons that this was necessary.
Some of you might be aware, others not, that back in August I had the great pleasure of welcoming my son to the big wide world. Although the delivery had a few complications all seemed ok until about 2 weeks later when during a health visitor check some signs of illness were noticed.
Since then we've had several trips to the hospital, blood tests etc carried out, and last week we went to see a specialist consultant at a major UK Children's Hospital.
Late last week we've finally been given some rough indication of what's been going on, and I'm very glad and relieved to say, there's signs of improvement with lil lad's condition. We're not in the clear yet but we are getting there, fingers crossed.
So why post this here? Well over the last few months and weeks there's been several people email me about 'whats next?', can you do this for me, anything planned yet? etc etc.
Most people I've kept in touch with, some have slipped through the net.
Apologies to anyone who I've not responded to or kept up to date.
In a nutshell;
There's one major job nearing completion, once that's out the door there is a run planned, other little jobs people wanted doing will have to wait until big jobby is gone.
Please bare with me, I'm almost getting back to normal after a total crap roller coaster year. I value everyone's patience and understanding and really appreciate the concern and support of various members here.
Normal service WILL resume shortly.

Glad to hear that things are looking rosier from the little chaps POV. I know how that feels, so know what you are going through.

I can only imagine... when I was pregnant with Oliver, we had our 20 week scan, and we were taken into the 'family room' to discuss the results (in other words, they thought something wasn't quite right, 3 of the markers were not 'normal') I was literally shaking, and worry doesn't convey how you feel... I had to wait 2 weeks, for another scan. They were the worst of my life... all is well now, but I TOTALLY get that feeling.
Keep us informed MiniG... we are all here for you. I'm sure you know that.
I think calling him 'slow' is a bit unfair....
.....to snails and other slow things )
He is like a Kings Cross train, slow and never on time :v never mind the dirt and smelling like pish
Is it because I don't have any ankle biters that they call me irresponsible ?
