Most of the reviews are from major British press publications with some Hollywood thrown in (e.g. Variety). Interestingly, most of the negative reviews are from sites nobody has really heard of.

I had to peek at a couple of reviews. One of them seemed like it was going to spoil the story so I closed out of it quickly. General consensus: It's good but not as good as Skyfall. But then again, that's what they said about QoS and I enjoyed that even more than SF. I'm going to keep my expectations realistic for Spectre. Will it be a classic or one of the greatest movies of all time? Likely not. But I'm still probably going to love it.
None of the reviews are comparing Spectre to itself, comparing it to other action franchises, or even comparing it to other bonds. They're just comparing it to... Skyfall ... if they just compared it to the entire franchise, it has to be in the top 7.
They also are counting off just because it is not as emotional as the last 3. Well maybe it wasn't trying to, ever think of that. We don't need an emotionally driven narrative every time. In fact, the older bonds had action driven narratives, all the way up till OHMSS. And before that they would always hold the emotional stuff right towards the end just to give the finale some extra weight. goldfinger didn't have any emotion compared to Bond movies 1, 2, and 4 - it is the least emotional and the most cheesy of the 4, yet its considered the best one. I just think they are deducting the movie for all the wrong reasons. We have evolved into a culture that really likes that emotional stuff, and that was great coming out of the Die Another Day pit but we don't have to rely on it as much. action and rising against the odds is really is the most important thing. Don't cater to the critics
The Mark Kermode review, is the one I always listen to, I think he's a very honest
Guy. To hear him give it a glowing review ( saying it's not Skyfall 2 ) that it has
several laugh out loud moments ( Ben Whishaw, getting credit for great comic timing)
Several moments, when he actually jumped. ) and that the characters are all believable
and we'll rounded, so that you do care about them!
It's just great to hear, can't wait for Monday night. {[]
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
Its the 7th best reviewed bond film of all time right now, behind Thunderball which has 85% . I think it should definetely lap up Thunderball - loved thunderball but too much underwater so that it felt like a gimmick compared to the other Terrence Young films.
Mark Kermode is great, he earned himself a subscriber, and his co-host just interview Sam Mendez, Andrew Scott, and Daniel like actual human beings, they don't ask who's gonna replace him (rude) and they don't ask him to pout (incredibly rude)
Personally I can't fault it, might be the longest Bond, but the time went very quickly.
I loved every minute of it and I'm sure the people that were with me felt the same.
The song is still dog poo though
It's a great roller coaster day out with great friends, old and new but even Daniel Kleinman can't salvage

Nice find. Both useful reviews with real points to add to the conversation, especially that first one.

Since you've seen it I have one question. Is the gun barrel at the beginning like most of the other Bond films?
Yes
YES, in its full glory -{
