Which rule us that?
Well seeing as how there are over 100,000 actors in Hollywood alone....and only five or six a year are nominated for an Oscar... And there have only been six actors who have officially played Bond... I'd say the fact that one has won an Oscar shows that Bond actors can be great. I could certainly see Craig winning an Oscar in future. -{

UnderwaterBattle007, I too was raised watching Sir Roger in The Saint
and the Persuaders. -{ so I'm a fan. Although I remember reading that
in LALD Roger was not allowed to raise his eyebrow.
And it is in my view his best performance as Bond. Although not a Roger fan I would take him over paunchy Sean in terrible ill fitting clothes and a rug disaster any day ( and I am a Sean fan !)

I too could see Craig winning an Oscar, yes. He'll probably have an interesting maturity like Connery did.

I've been thinking that for years..
1. For Your Eyes Only 2. The Living Daylights 3 From Russia with Love 4. Casino Royale 5. OHMSS 6. Skyfall
So a couple of days ago I mentioned being curious on hearing Roger Moore's thoughts on SPECTRE, though I still haven't heared anything from his side as of now, another one of the Bond's did share his assessment on SPECTRE.

And then we'll watch DAD and might even agree that it's the best Bond movie ever! 8-)
:v For the record, DAD was the last Bond I watched before seeing SP for the first time. There's a lot I like in that one...but best ever? ) For me, that will always be FRWL, unless something amazing gets made.

Here's a question:
During the film, in the scenes in the compound in the meteor crater, I never ONCE though about YOLT's volcano lair. In fact, NO OTHER Bond film came to mind at all during my viewing. I was just so in the moment with the movie.
Me too -{ Cheered on seeing it on the trailer, but never thought of it
on watching the film. Just enjoyed the Bond villain touches. Like having
some beautifully watered lawns in the middle of a desert.

He'd know about writing issues! I read some remarks from Sir Roger right after SP's UK debut---he had nothing but positive raves for it.

I tried my best but couldn't avoid picking up some details. It's all the better your way!
Yeah, I call this one a win.
But I'm disappointed in Thunderpussy giving up pun bait like that. I fully expected him to reply "This time of year it's always cold when you leave your trailer!"
I was actually going to say,
It's ok for you guys going in to the film pure and unspoilt by any trailer.
while I'm a bit of an old slapper, who couldn't get enough, of the trailer.
