I've thought about Daniel Craig's comment about how Bond is a misogynist, and after seeing Spectre I don't see how this is true about the character he is playing. He still respects M-Mansfield after her death and follows her wishes. He clearly has a lot of respect to follow this female against the wishes of his male boss. And he completely respects Madeline. He doesn't take advantage of her. Now there's the girl in Mexico, who is just there as arm candy, but he doesn't take advantage of her either. And there's Lucia who he does take advantage of, but he also cares enough about her to do whatever he can to save her life. He seems serious about that.
