Spectre poster trousers found!

A very special delivery from Italy arrived and I wanted to share that I managed to track down a pair of the Neil Barrett trousers in the Spectre teaser poster (and possibly the movie finale)! You can see the correct pattern and the frogmouth pockets in my pics below.

This has to be my first proper "find" since starting to collect Bond clothing. Normally I've just bought items still available at retailers, but this is the first time I've had to hunt for something. This forum has taught me if you work hard enough, you never know what you'll turn up! {[]

The trousers are from NB's Autumn/Winter 2014 collection. The code of the trousers is BPA140 series 1213.

I managed to stumble across this pair from an Italian retailer who carries overstock NB items. I've not managed to find any more anywhere in Europe. Because they are old season, NB or their stockists have not been able to track down any other pairs (even knowing the code). So just pure luck in the end.

And finally, after finding this pair and recontacting NB, I found out according to the tag, the pair I have is actually the sample from their showroom pre-collection. So they told me I'm very lucky as I've somehow got the original pants. )

So it turns out the Neil Barrett post after the release of the Spectre poster was correct after all.

I have to ask, do they fit?

When dealing with Neil Barrett I contacted both their head office and flagship Milan store. They were very helpful. I dealt with someone named Sylvie at the head office. Since this is a sample I hope someone here can get their hands on one of the production ones.

I must admit I never thought to bring up the topic of getting them remade with Neil Barrett!

The fit is skinny but because of the elastane content they are very stretchy.

Somehow I'd have expected these not to be made exclusively from synthetic fibres. The turtleneck being wool/cashmere etc. But I'm sure they're great nonetheless.

Yes, he does wear a belt with the trousers, and they are 100% the same trousers worn with the JV Racer.

These look like a very good alternative, Neil Barrett, very similar pattern and same design/pockets etc. These ones are 100% wool though. Only 3 left!

Because of the artificial fabric in the former, I find that fabrics made of a blend of many different types are the first to become creased and mottled. Perhaps this Neil Barret fabric has some redeeming qualities?

Yes, this is correct, I saw it in IMAX and saw it quite clearly was dark brown.

All the M&S trousers are too short for me. Same with the Zara trousers I have looked at. No 34 inch or greater inseams.
