Higgins, Joined the dark ( Green) side long ago, Best not to follow that path :))
There are people here who we have to trust ( The Mods) who, will always evaluate
Threads and posts. We may not always agree with their decisions, or like it, but they
have to keep the place running.
    ( I've had threads closed " I know had to believe right ?", Posts deleted " Thankfully" ;) )
Basically everything will work itself out, and in my book there's nothing wrong with speaking
out if you think something is wrong. ( except anything I write, as that's always spot on )
Although I do think ( from experience) best to contact a Mod, for advice, as they may already
be working on a solution, ( when they're not drinking, looking at naughty web sites, of playing
    Bingo) :)

I seriously don't see a reason why this should be closed ?:)

Because then you'll get Spectre in comparison with GF/TB/YOLT/etc. threads, and you might even get a Spectre in comparison with a turkey sandwich thread.

If OP wants to make a thread, in my opinion, he should at least give some point of genuine discussion.

A disclaimer about watching naughty websites on the job would have sounded differently :v

Okay, I'll cast the first stone.

Both movies are a debut of Spectre. The later Bond films have been more interested in developing Bond's character by making his missions personal. FRWL's villain was more interested in political/global affairs, and Bond was just one 00, a cog in the machine. SP's plot has an evil organization with the ultimate goal of
    annoying Bond

It's only a joke, Higgins- you must forgive me, not being German I sometimes find your sense of humour hard to follow. :D

Trains feature in Both, In FRWL it's taking Bond away from trouble, with Spectre
It's taking him to trouble. Both have terrific Fight sequences on trains, in Each
Bond seems totally out matched by his opponent. Both feature Blonde leading
ladies. Both have sections using Italy Rome and Venice, Both show Bond discarding
    either a film ( FRWL) or a video ( Vesper's interrogation).

SPECTRE debuts in Dr. No, not FRWL. Blofeld debuts in FRWL, however.

^ Correct. In DN Spectre was in the backdrop, but in FRWL is was properly introduced.

@Barbel. Requesting a lock on this thread.

    Can you PM either myself or Barbel please ? We'd be happy to hear your views - same goes for anybody -{
If this thread - or similar ones - are not of interest to you (meaning anybody) then simply stay out of them - that would seem the logical thing to do {[]

Dr. No's explanation of SPECTRE is quite a proper introduction.
