Just a quick side note to returning things via mail. I read the fine print on one of the major shipping companies when I was about to return a $4,500 item and it looks to me that their liability is extremely limited ($100 in most cases) and it looks like they only provide insurance up to a very low amount with lots of hoops to jump through.
The idea of my $4,500 package getting lost along the way with me having basically zero recourse scared me enough to consider driving several hours to the store to return the item.
Just something to keep in mind as I would hate for anyone to be out lots of money buying an item and then not even having the item if it got lost in the mail.
