See it like that: If you are buying a watch from this seller (and I know him pretty well) or another one, you may feel uncomfortable, if your particular watch can be found with a simple google search.
Additionally, there are people that are faking watches and documents based on these pics and you wouldn't want thosands of fakes floating around with the same serial as yours.
And worst case - someone may file a police report saying that the watch has been stolen from him and gives out this particular serial number.
The watch may then get stopped the next time that it's sent to Omega because they check back with their database of stolen watches.
A lot of good reasons not to show serial numbers/LE numbers on the internet and I also feel uncomfortable seeing the LEs posted in the other thread.
