There's no excuse now for Bond fans to not own all of them! I'll never understand why people here who are huge Bond fans don't own every film. I even own two copies of the 2006 Casino Royale!
I can't be bothered to buy them all on bluray...although I do have a few...at the price shown it looks like they are trying one last push to dump them before churning out 4K versions )
But do you have all of them in some form?
haha that's nothing I own some films (DAD) 7 times... )
Wow! I don't think I own more than 4 copies of any Bond film, but those are ones I like. CR I despise and I even own two copies of it!
I have all of them in various forms...complete VHS (in four guises at least), a full set of DVD's (at least twice) and a few in bluray...although a quality bluray player will upscale the DVD's to 1080i...
That's a lot! The Ultimate Edition DVDs are very good, and I'm sure a good player can make them look their best. But the original DVDs will never look as good as the Blu-rays, no matter what your Blu-ray player can do.
I agree about bluray being slightly better...but that's all - slightly...I'll wait for the 4K versions - or straight to 8K ? )
Also too many people have complained about the bluray versions at certain points....
I never got the Ultimate Edition set, so the jump from the original DVDs to the Blu-ray was huge for me. There are indeed problems with the Blu-rays, but the Ultimate Edition DVDs (I've seen some) have the same problems. I've held onto my DVDs for the things missing on the Blu-ray. But it's not worth complaining about the Bond Blu-rays when the problems pale in comparison to Star Wars. Now that's something to complain about.
held back on the complete blue ray set , only have the craig era ones
