OT: Fake eBay UK Monclers

Slightly off topic but I know a lot of you guys are buying Monclers with the Bond (SPECTRE Solden) and Daniel Craig connection.

Anyhow a rare "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" Cezzane Moncler appeared on fleabay UK this week which I jumped on, however after my purchase I remembered that I had pics of the real deal and thus after a quick comparison it seemed to me dead cert a fake.

EBAY AUCTION (notice Moncler is not even centered and the whole thing label and writing looks amateurish)



There was a few other things also (buttons) etc and closeup of fabric that didn't add up.

The seller refunded my money instantly after I sent her the comparison pics and it turns out they had only recently just bought it off another eBayer but it didn't fit her husband (a quick completed / sold item search showed this was indeed true and purchased from another seller)

Anyhow be careful people!! Looks pretty obvious when you compare against the real thing.

Lucky escape! If anyone does need advice or help validating I am fortunate to own an original cezzane and I'm always happy to provide info - especially around some of the more hidden details like labels inside pockets and so on....

Thanks to a tip off that you could pick up the Moncler Soldne version cardigan in Copenhagen I just bagged a Navy Blue in Denmark (and a lot cheaper than barneys in NYC) - got the last Med in stock what a result!

The lord giveth and taketh away as Amazon also cancelled my JB Archives order on Monday - it was meant to be I guess

So I have a Super Natural Men's Combustion Cloud Jacket 340 in Caviar (Black) up for grabs if anyone is interested drop me a PM only looking to recover what I paid for it (import from US so £100 plus postage (size Small but fits me fine and I am a 38 - 39 chest)
